Am using this device since August 2021. UI issues were there in MIUI 12.5. When MIUI 13 update came based on Android 12,I updated it and suddenly battery fault was there. Battery drained too quickly and charged too quickly. In service centre,they say battery is damaged,change it.

Hanging problem is major problem. All sim remove then after 10to15 minute it's working start. Not good

Using aosp on this , specially the newer trees with 'chime' codename is pretty good , satisfactory performance, good bb and above all stock Android experience, i hope development continue for atleast a couple years so that I can keep this nice phone a little longer !

I bought redmi 4 in 2017 and used it more than 4 years, was much better than this piece ... the amount of difficulty I faced within 1year of using it is more than redmi 4 in 4 year span. All sorts of problems a user can face in it and within a year it's getting off on it's on ,not able to switch it on, every time you have to go to service center...do not buy it...go for any other brand ,never redmi....this model has changed my whole perception for this company, never gonna purchase redmi product ever

Within 1 year mother board issue .I gave it to service center and they don't repair it in warranty period .Mainly problem of chargi ic .

Iam using this phone 2 years phone totall is Good but phone restart or switch on or off when on the mobile not on the mobile after go the mobile repair shop boost the battery after switch on the Mobile it's battery issue and mi updates every time Askinggg

Good phone. I have been using from last 1.5 years the 4/64 variant. For day to day use it is a good option. Specially battery backup is nice.

Worst phone ever used. Problems are quiet often with touch screen. No Android update. Useless data waste miui updates are irritating. I was needed to buy a data pack for recent useless miui update,that required 2.5gb data. Rebooting on on its own. Imagine what, if it happens during money transfer or submitting a job application in critical time or booking a railway ticket.... horrifying experience....don't buy it please!
Instead go for samsung M11
