Anyone thinking of getting a cheap OEM chinese tablet should get this instead. Overall decent screen size, supported google docs and other typing apps, split screen and floating windows itself is very useful, although lacking in multitasking
for multitasking preferably redmi 9 4/64 for not much more depending on where u are

Got the phone in February 2022.
worked perfect annd was great as my main phone but about 4 months after buying it became slower and slower. At this point the screen doesn't respond to touch some times and needs to be turned off and in again to be used. ontop of that the phone often glitches out in multiple ways. Low space and awefull connection. Laggy beyond belief aswell. The longer I have this phone the worse it becomes. Constantly changing my wallpaper and other stuff like that. DO NOT BUY. I am stuck with this awefull phone now and I am highly disappointed.

Bad phone😔.poor quality.slow wifi
Connection.poor resolution video watch.
Fast drain battery.longer charging time(not type c).

I have this phone since may 2022 as main phone...untill now there's no proplems the phone is good for daily things like social media apps and simple games and the battery is good...if you want to buy this phone look at this options if its near redmi 9a price...9 9c 10a 10 9T all of them are better than 9a

the device has terrible software. Xiaomi did a bad job by putting such a heavy bloatware crap called MIUI on Redmi 9A. I regret buying this terrible phone for my father. look at samsung galaxy a03 core with such a weak hardware. instead of installing a full oneui on it, they put a pretty lightweight android go with custom samsung app on that device. Galaxy performs much better than redmi 9A despite having weaker SOC thanks to android go.

I think it's great low budget phone compared to others manufacturers. With excellent features too. The downside is that the upgrade are not available as promised. I tested it to the limit it handles well. I Agree that some apps are bloating, xiaomi should make some sense apps optional

This phone is crap. Stay away from it. Tons of bloatware and it takes ages to open the dialer even when nothing is running in the background. This phone may suit octogenarians.

It is a very nice phone. The only thing I find odd is the fact of not having the call record setting available after updating to MIUI 12.5.6. Maybe they publish an update to fix that. I had a Huawei DUB-AL00 made in 2018 and it had that options right from the beginning.
