This phone is whack
Can't pick calls
Keeps skipping and hanging
Can be hot like it was placed on fire
Slow like there is no tomorrow.
The only thing good about it is it's camera and battery strength

I use this phone right now (non-gaming usage), overall the performance is standard like browsing, watch video, lagging is pretty normal for some part considered this phone is low entry level

This phone STINKS. It comes with only 2GB of ram (or 4 if you're lucky). If you want somewhat of a good use, you need to CLEAN the ram. The miui on this phone really stinks because it comes preloaded with some chinese games that suck + the cpu runs at a whopping, 2GHZ on 8 CORES. The android version its running also sucks dookie because it doesn't work with all apps (for instance, the dolphin emulator). Oh and 32GB of ROM is not enough because 20gb of it is already taken up by the crappy OS. If i had to rate it from 1 to 10, i would rate it... 0/10.

I like Xiaomi but pleaaase don't buy this phone, it will without exaggeration become unusable in 1 to 2 years, this is by far the worst phone ever made, so please just pay a bit more and get note 13 and not this, it is horrible

MIUI is terribly slow on the Redmi 9A, but I was positively surprised when I unlocked the bootloader and installed Lineage 20 with Android 13. Now with a 128gb memory card and internal 64/4gb it works without problems. It even runs Asphalt 9 (it's playable) 😄

The camera design looks like iPhone Xs Max... better get real iphone with good quality than this phone.. i don't really recommend it for gaming and social purspose (Maybe if you use lite version apk it will be ok?) ... mine is 2 RAM.. and 2 RAM is irrelevant!! nowadays this phone doesn't allow you to move any apps to External storage.. However if you broke,don't have option to buy others phone please read this
Issues that you'll get after bought this Redmi 9A (and some advice for you):
IG Filter Issues
-as someone that love to use IG filter it's a bit disappointed cuz some filter doesn't work on this phone.. especially filter with background (no advice for this issues)
YouTube issues
- Whenever ads popping up the video will be glitch
Lag issues
- if you have Tiktok, WhatsApp, X, Instagram, Shein, Free fire, MLBB, Capcut, 5K photos, 2K videos on this phone Yess you'll have it ..
How to overcome Lag issues?
-Factory reset and delete unnecessary app, video and photo.. after reset do not update internal app.. or system .. always clear cache.
How to overcome YT issues?
- Clear recently app , Re- open the YT. The glitch will gone for a while...

At first i was buying this phone because my main phone at that time was broken (the lcd was crushed) , it's the most disgusting experience because it's so lagging until, i flashed this phone with lineage os (custom rom) with google pixel experience based on. I changed my mind, because of its battery i use this phone as daily driver, forgot to told ya, its 4/64 ver, china series ver. so, beside the annoying ads from the original os (miui) it's never as bad as 2/32 ver. The battery so awesome if you didn't force this potato's phone to play any games (offline one is okay though) . Overall experience is 7.5/10 . Just incase you didn't get any point with what i wanted to say, ROOT THIS SHITTY ASS PHONE, IT WILL GIVE YOU BETTER EXPERIENCE

I think I already know what to do with this 2GB trash after almost 2 years of almost impossible use (not for games, only for calls...), it was laggy trash when I bought it, Its worst worst worst trash now.
I will turn this "phone" into dust carefully with grinder step by step in front of camera and will send it back to "xiAomi" factory as fresh resource for creating even worst piece of sh*t than previous. Yes, they can.
p.s. Will never buy this brand again.
