Don't buy or use Xiaomi Redmi 9a it's very hard to say! I've had a bad feelings for this I use this phone for couple of years I have nothing it's worthless waisting money can't go enough it's a pour signal weak among the weakest so that I won't recommend this for others just because is this waisting your time and money thank you buy buy others company phone no not this Redmi IST all disguating

Using indian variant redmi 9A _ 2 gb model . I threw away inbox cable and charger ,its really mediocre quality. Using sony power bank for now ,it uses 5v and efficient.
I uninstalled everything still some apps consume ram hidden. For 2 gb variant usable ram is only 800 -900 mb ram. Okay to read pdf and watch presentations. Display mediocre for hd videos .Gaming isn't good too.

For a phone with 2gb ram you'd expect better performance but this has turned out to be the worst phone I've ever had. When I receive calls it just rings but doesn't show who's calling, many a time i have to call back cz I couldn't answer when it rang. Don't get me started with the lag. Wouldn't buy again

-Chip lottery; came from a bad batch
Personally came from some much more powerful (on paper) phones, yet am pleasantly surprised by how it's holding up

I just got my Redmi 9a last week... it's pretty nice though.the camera and OTG functions well,but my disappointment about it was the fact that it freezes frequently,the speaker isnt loud enough and the resolution is a bit poor in daylight..
I also downloaded the mi remote but it says my phone can't has no IT blaster function...But the phone specs reads it's an IR blaster enabled..

Ahmed222, 13 Jul 2021Got 9A for my wife today it's good according to price ... morethe p22 was faster because it is an old chipset and probably got a lot of optimization since it was debuted, the g25 however is quite new.
plus the g25 is being overshadowed by the g35 due to slightly better performance at the same price, just like how the g80/85 overshadows the g70 and p65.

Got 9A for my wife today it's good according to price but the chipset Helio , G25 is v slow even more slow than Helio P22 which is much older, here mediatek is going backwards instead of going forward a little disappointed
