I bought this phone for calls and text messaging. Can't even open the app, it will take 1minute to use a PHONE call better buy a dumb phone!

My Redmi 9A has a problem of not charging after the battery running out of power completely.
My 2 friends changed the batteries thinking that it was the battery issue.
Another friend was complaining of the charging system but later on found out that it was not the battery but a factory error on starting the battery after getting drained.
Are there other people facing the same problem?

Very unresponsive touch screen after less than a year of using it. Phone get sluggish after sometimes but battery life is very good.

This phone is awful, can barely run it's own OS, is clogged with useless apps on startup, terribly unoptimized, background apps freeze and restart when you return to them.
Avoid at all costs. Buy any other phone, even if the specs are lower and it'll run better.
If you must or definitely want a Xiaomi go with Mi A2, about the same specs, way better.
