I am seeing conflicting information on the internet regarding whether this phone has a notification light that blinks when you have new messages etc. Some sights say it does, some say it dont.
Anyone that actually has a Redmi 9C who can tell me?

The more I use this Redmi 9C the more it impresses me. Can't beat it for value for money. It punches way above it's weight and can show more expensive phones a thing or two. Great product indeed.

NeonHD, 03 Jul 2020Looks nice, but who tf would put 720p on a frikin huge 6.53... moreSamsung has done it again with the Galaxy A42, 720p pentile AMOLED on a 6.6inch phone. And the A42 is 3-4x the price of this Redmi 9c.
Why don't you go complain there instead?

Anonymous, 30 Dec 2020unsatisfide phone and spacaily display is very bed not buy ... moreNo the screen is not very bad, for the price this is one of the better screens around, maybe an Iphone 12 should suffice your particular screen requirements, only problem is it costs about 10 times more than this superb entry level phone.

I purchased the 32GB 2GB version and I am very happy with it. I used to be a Nokia fan until HMD and their buggy software updates made my Nokia 1 basically unusable. So I have walked away from Nokia for good.
I look forward to a great future with Xiaomi now :)

This phone is easy to recommend , the 720 Ips panel is good, crisp and vibrant, the chip is fast enough for everyday use and the odd game or two, Pubg, World war heroes and Nobleman work just fine. GPS is accurate and locks on within a minute. watching videos is a pleasure, the battery don't overheat during game play or videos. It has a solid built and I like the weight of the phone, excellent budget phone. Pity about not having a type-c port but it is something I can live with.
