I did the same last night ; download was approximately 300 MB & mine survived it as well.

Very poor wi-fi reception! You have to be very close to router.

This phone is suck. It so hard to open when deadboot occurs. I hope M.I have a solution about this issue

Google Play system update to May 1, 2022 and MIUI Global 12.5.11.0RJQMIXM update.
Done and done.
My Redmi 9T survived both update that requires reboot. No deadboot.
Still alive. Yay.

I'm totally regret of buying this product at first, becuse Is the worstest among the phones have ever used, imagine phone got off and not coming back again, I'm not recomend even my enymy to goes xaomi product useless as hell

Netsu, 23 May 2022Great phone, you can basically play any game, the camera is... moreHonestly I regret buy this product, it packoff shortly after the warranty might have expired, imagine using this product look like the best at first untill goten to exactly one year and two month, the phone just stop working without any form of damages and the worst out of the story is when I took my phone to ikeja xaomi customer assistant center, infact I met up to 10 user of thesame redmi 9t and pocco m3 conplaining of thesame issues as mine and the customer assistant agent was not even showing empathy on us before she keep saying its pannel fault and we should bring 50,

Great phone, you can basically play any game, the camera is amazing and the battery lasts me about 3-4 days on a charge.
However, I don't recommend updating it if you buy it, the updates has only made the phone a bit sluggish for some reason, software still runs perfectly, but MUI itself is sluggish

I've been using this phone for almost 8 months now, everything is perfect except for when i update the phone to latest version it's WIFI signals quality got poor, Now when i am close to the router the signal strength is good, but when i am a little far away the WIFI signals drops. One more thing, and i don't know if it matters for most of the users, but it did to me, is that the default Launcher of the phone does not support icon packs, also if you are using third party launcher then you can't use the NAVIGATION GESTURES.

I've had mine for 1year 1month and it suddenly froze and died. I've asked at local shop and they've said motherboard died. Otherwise was happy with it, aside being some slow/lagging to open camera to take pictures and focus wasn't best. But considering this and losing all my files out of nowhere, do not recommend buying it.

I searched "known issue of phones with the Snapdragon 662" and mostly found people dissatisfied with it's performance. None related to deadboot. Even the latest Oppo Reno6 Lite still utilise Snapdragon 662, a 2 year old processor on a 2022 phone. You're exaggerating.

been using this phone almost 1 years, and suddenly my redmi 9t dead. run out battery and when i charge, there is no logo or battery indicator show up. Could be battery problem or motherboard problem or both of them. I had enough of cheap smartphone.
