Just did a test reboot of my 9T, and the phone survived !
Never before now (ie reading some of the comments) did I ever think that the simple act of rebooting a smartphone, would be like playing a game of Russian roulette.

So glad to hear some of the Nigerian people got refund for their phone !! Here in Myanmar even tho I bought this phone on May 2 and used for only 3 months and when I got issue they don't take any responsibility and ask me 25$ for repair service ;) and they still said 1 year warranty lol

I also have that kind of deadboot issue on my Redmi 9t.. and some people say specially the technician , that one of the reason of deadboot issue is that because of updating of the phone system and it can cause damage of the IC of the phone, and I don't know if that is true. And they also said that replacing new IC on phone is one of the solution to get back the unli rebooting on phone.

I got the deadboot issue for 9T. I believe everyone here still have warranty for yout redmi 9T as it launched less than 1 year. It is better to take it to the service centre. I did send it to service centre 2 weeks and in the end they give me NEW PHONE which is Redmi 10 with same spec, but I cant choose the colour I wanted. Dont repair by yourself or send it to unauthorized repair shop, you will lose the warranty.

This Xiaomi 9t is .a lie...let's go guy's let's report this issues to NBI. co'z I had same problem too with my Redmi 9t. I just used it for 2months (it's under warranty) now it's been in Xiaomi service center for almost 3 months now....thier service center doesn't do anything...just keeps promising us that I'll going to be fix after xiaomi main will send parts... But till now no parts came. So may phone doesn't fix yet...emagine for almost 3 months now.
Hey Xiaomi company, Please do the right thing.

Everything is good except a phone itself. if you restart your redmi 9t, it will not turn on unless you visit to the nearest service center. its in the market with manufacturing defect in my opinion.

I noticed the battery strength of my Redmi 9T which i bought in August has reduced drastically. The total hours is now about 32 hours which was around 64 hours for the first few times I checked it. This is unexpected for 6000 mah. Is this as a result of the last update 12.0.17.0(QJQMIXM) or is anyone else experiencing this?
