Wouldn't expect much from a mid range phone. So far it's a really good phone. Been using this phone as a backup phone. Really love this phone. The battery life is very good. Last time I charged this phone from 100% to 63% after 4 days left unused. Camera also good. The speaker is quite loud compare to my main phone.

Still at 12.0.17 this version is clean... i will not update anymore. Guys thres nothing new in 2.5.0 Just dont Update yer phones. Turn a Pilot on if you wont use yer phones... never ever restart it or turn off. AND GODDAMIT TURE AUTOMATIC UPDATES OFF.

Does anyone know if MIUI Global version 12.0.6 causes the deadboot issue in the Global variant of Redmi 9T?

I bought this model January 31st, and just like most of the people here commenting, I also experience the dead boot. I've read that users can get a full repair, device exchange, or a full refund. If this is legit, I would want a refund, can someone tell me how? I am from the Philippines, by the way.

Deadboot for 2 weeks already.Today i tried connecting my charger in our computer and after an hour it seems that the phone is working already. Charging still i will open it once batt is full.Here's a piece of advice don't let your phone reached to 0% /drained i think that is one of the reason why phone will not open only black screen and not charging.Just put your phone in a safe place and rest for a while and then after two weeks try to charge and open it.Hope it will work for u.

I sold this phone and bought Mi 5x (used) one and its not so bad at all !! Next time I will patiently wait for user review before I bought a phone :( What a waste of money on this shlt

I've tried emailing and calling Xiaomi support but to no response at all. The closest is Xiaomi Service Center to my place is in another city so I haven't went. Today, I was able to open my phone again. Frivolously, I just installed the latest updates from Oct 20th (Package 1.9.6 and System Service Plugin 9.10.94 - 9.10.96. Crossing fingers.
