I used Redmi Note 7 for 21 good months! If my memory serves me right, it got just one update. I read somewhere that, it wasn't going to get MIUI12.5. so I decided to sell it and I went in for the Redmi 9T in January of this year, and I've not regretted moving up! When I got it, it was on 12.0.1, a few days later, it came to 12.0.5. It stayed there for some time, and it is now on 12.0.10 ! THIS PHONE TO ME, IS VERY, VERY GOOD! It has never giving me any problem! No heating, no lagging. And most of all, the battery is solid!

        Alirazairshad, 08 Jul 2021My mistake. I misread it as 12.0.1 🤦 I take my words back. Since the time I bought this phone I haven't face any issues with it. Even I had made any updates that arrived for the phone and even flash custom ROMs on it and had no issues found.And the thing I like most is it has better battery and good output when playing audio with the dual speakers

          This mobile phone is not good enough. Whenever I started gallery some photos can't support without Mobile Data or WiFi. This phone is worse. Redmi is better than Nokia

Yours still running MIUI 12.0.1 which came out of the box with no issues. Issues started when we started updating MIUI.

                Some of you people who had multiple problems with this phone. You made me laugh.

                I've been using this cheap phone since February and NONE of those issues you people mentioned happened to mine. From sudden reboot, won't boot up after update, unusual battery drains, heat problems, slow charging blablabla all that. Again, NONE.

                My MIUI is version is 12.0.11 and it's working as usual. So why? Seriously, what have you people done to the poor phone prior? LOL

                    I suggest you rollback to at least 12.0.1, and wait til 12.5 is out, quite a long wait but it might be worth it.

                      What's the need for updating? I didn't update my software, it's still on 12.0.4 and I have no problems.

                          The worst phone I've ever used. I am using it since last 5 months and during this period it got shut down 3 times with no reboot. I tried everything to restart it but in vain. After 2 days it suddenly came alive signaling battery empty signal. Second time same scene was repeated with alive time increased and the third turn continues until today. That happens when you trust on Xiaomi. I got a lesson that the international brands like apple samsung will cost you a bit more but provide you with peace of mind and genuine products. No service provided by xiaomi in Pakistan. Online warranty partners provide the worst service. Often they dont pick up the phone in islamabad. This is my 4th experience with xiaomi brand. this was the worst. A 100% fail product. Never recommended

                              after update cant start

                                I am a redmi 9T user. After rebooting my mobile phone, it didn't come back on. Turning it on didn't help either .. charging also couldn't. why ??

                                      try holding the power button on that black screen until it reboots. You should hear a first vibration followed by a second one if it works. I have a note 9s and the same thing happened to mine when i updated to android 11, except it got stuck on miui logo for over an hour. did the trick and worked, thankfully. hope yours works as well. and it seems that it could be a problem with xiaomi phones when you update them. They seem to stuck on boot very often
