using xiaomi.eu latest beta ROM with my k20 pro for the last 4 months or so. Butter smooth with very little hiccups here and there. Still a flagship chip with gorgeous outlook and more than decent camera setup. Using it with armor cover but every now and then I take the cover off to have a feel of the glass back in my hands. just awesome. Not much into gaming, which is the reason I did not switch to any pixel ROMs. As a daily driver, any latest MIUI based custom rom for k20 pro will work wonders. I personally use MIUI based custom rom to unlock the full potential of the stock MIUI camera. Gcam is a welcome bonus.
Another reason for using MIUI based custom ROM is for the default vibration strength. On pixel based ROMS or AOSP ROMs the vibration strength is weaker than MIUI based ROMs. I always need that high vibration strength as the phone stays in silent mode in my pocket for a considerable amount of time

SA466, 16 Oct 2021I'm confused about the telephoto on this phone. It has... moreThe pixel size for 48mp main is 0.8µm but for 8mp telephoto is 1.12µm. But even with that numbers the digital zoom seems to be better.
The interesting part is that in indoor lighting you actually end up using main 48mp with 2x zoom because it captures more light. This practice can be found on various devices like oneplus 7t with similar camera config.

I'm confused about the telephoto on this phone. It has a 48MP 1/2" main sensor so with 2x digital zoom that would be 12MP 1/4". So wouldn't it be just as good or even better then the 8MP 1/4 Telephoto?

Hi, I am having issues with the camera app after the 12.5.1 update. I am not being able to access Panoroma, Short Video, and Vlog features. Can someone provide me the solution for it?

Using it from last one year,this phone is best in every aspect.battery is working fine after recent update of 12.5 miui,best thing about this phone is its camera quality in potrait mode.most of the images are at par with dslr. One of the best phone I bought till now.

I have this phone for two years, red version. Apart from some minor scratches on the back, the phone still looks stunning. The performance is stellar: smooth and fast. The battery life got a bit worse but considering it has fast charge, a couple of 15-min charge sessions a day are more that enough to keep it around 50%. Updated to MiUI 12.5, no custom ROM.

Using it for last 1 and half years. No other issues except just one - the call volume has become significantly less gradually. So much so that I can't hear anything without turning on the speaker. So the one solution I have come to is - using a Bluetooth ear phone 24x7. That seems to have taken care of the issue. But apart from that the phone is a beast. My suggestion - don't do software upgrade. Never. Just use it in the same OS that's out of the box and u won't have any issues.. Ever

People can talk shit about this phone's software but the hardware is Top level. And if we combine it with custom ROM. What we get is totally worth it and no other phone from other brand can get this much custom ROM support.
