I'd take the 765G plus IPS over any AMOLED any day. 6.67" @ 120Hz or 60Hz (will probably get a 90Hz mod from community). Sony IMX686 quad camera setup. On chip 5G. Only flaw, no micro SD slot. Just waiting for 765G specs over and price for the Redmi K30.

Why would I want to use a online cloud to store my files, a lot of those media hosting websites went down and I would need to redownload and upload instead of having a more reliable offline solution (SD card) And since when SD slots break? I use phones with SD cards since the java days and never had such a problem, even my poor old 8gb card survived after all the experiments I did with root apps :D
As for k30 the punch hole is a huge letdown compared to k20 and it's notchless screen, the pro version is rumored to have a Mediatek SoC which is bad for people like me who like emulators and Snapdragons are the best for this, no slot for the SD card is bad but I can live without it and use a external HD to transfer files with usb on the go, I don't care much about AMOLED or LCD as long as the screen is resistant to scratches and I can read the text without problems, lastly I usually don't care about the design of phones but the k20 red and blue variants look so good and I don't think k30 will be better.
I think k20 pro/mi 9t pro will remain my favorite pick until something better comes, maybe k40 pro or mi 10/mi 10 pro will have Snapdragon 865 without stupid gimmicks... I would actually buy mi 9t pro if they would bring the premium model with Snapdragon 855+ which

Honestly, for me, a good IPS display is better than AMOLED since I won't have to worry about burn-in issues
I hope Xioami always offers an IPS mid-ranger till AMOLED tech matures to the point where there aren't any burn-in issues

I hope the K30 comes with amoled but it it doesn't I can understand xiaomi, earlier K20 and K20 pro were deemed too expensive even if K20 pro was and by far the cheapest SD855 phone in the market and an all around and excellent device. There was even a formal complaint in india demanding Xiaomi to lower the price, instead of that Xiaomi now gives us the K30, punch hole instead of pop up camera.

It will come with Super Amoled Display not IPS. I must need IP68 rating on the device. Other specifications are descent for me.
