It is a flagship with LCD just like honor v30 with Kirin 990 and a lot of other devices

Anish De, 01 Dec 2019I don't think that Xiaomi is going to be using a IPS displa... moreIPS display can easily reach 120Hz without the penalty of having to deal with color change-accuracy on brightness below 50 to 40%. If they want to implement 120Hz, IPS is a smarter choice. It's easily to recommend AMOLED over an IPS on your part without knowing the problems associated with AMOLEDs.

OMJ, 01 Dec 2019I bet it's 2019 and those amoled burns are a thing in the p... moreLCD has pros and cons also like the amoled
Yes the amoled has better blacks but the lcd has better whites not all of them but the most amoled tend to the yellowish color or orange also the color accuracy is not as good as LCD I don't say all amoled or LCD have this problem but if you compare a standard LCD in midranges and a standard amoled you could see these problems like on the s7 or s6 ........ High end phones have a little bit percentage of burn in and....after very long periods of use or gaming But yes there is the flickering on all amoled which cause eyestrain ...
          Both have cons and pros

            IPS LCD is just enough

I don't think that Xiaomi is going to be using a IPS display as its predecessor, Redmi K20 is already using a AMOLED Display and has Under - display fingerprint sensor. If Xiaomi uses IPS, then it will be a loss for them as people would think why should they buy a phone with lesser features than the phone's predecessor. After all a successor of a phone should have more features than its predecessor. In fact the main thing people look for nowadays is a OLED display than IPS be it 60HZ or 120Hz, Everybody want a less power hungry display and a thinner phone which can only be achieved if one uses a OLED panel as it has individually lit pixels which are off in case the object in black in color and when pixels are off they will not need any electricity and OLED's even have lesser layers than that of IPS making it thin. If Xiaomi is trying to make their phone cheap, then I think they would go for IPS as it is cheaper to manufacture due to the less complexity. Still I would recommend OLED over IPS.

There is no use of 120Hz display because the processor is no capable of taking advantage of 120hz.
120hz is just used for marketing purpose

                      Punchhole camera is headache.
