Mediatek is known for its heating issues tho lol.. you would be the one to know after months of usage goodluck

I am using this phone now besides my galaxy s10＋. It is a lot thicker and heavier than the s10+, but actually it has many amazing specs at this low price. Firstly, it has a beautiful notchless screen, not even any punch hole! So it looks gorgeous. The MIUI has new animation architecture so every thing looks smooth with haptic feedback from the z axis motor. the vibration is strong, unlike the x axis models which cannot be heard when placed on a flat surface. the performance was good, and basically the same as iqoo z1, which features the same chipset. The fingerprint sensor is kind of slow in 2020 models, but it is acceptable at this low price. The ufs storage is 2.1, but the operational speed was fairly good. And it can run almost any high performance required game without lags or poor connection. The speaker is great, and the audio is Hi-res certified, despite the fact that it does not have an audio jack. the light sensors are great as they are mounted on both sides of the phone. The battery was acceptable, but actually performed poorer than iqoo z1. I am still waiting for further optimization and hopefully Mediatek can release drivers for longer time for I want to use this model for a longer time.

Better to buy Google Pixel 4a, which is 350$ and Xiaomi redmi K30 Ultra is 398$ !!!! First time i saw the price in gsm arena 250£ or 327$.. I think, xiaomi should reduce this price between 290$ to 320$..

this model has the processor of dimensity 1000 plus. I have used iqoo z1, and now I am using this model of redmi. It generally has great graphic performance (I tested asphalt 9 with highest framerate and best image quality) , the process was smooth and stable. But the temperature of this redmi is hotter than iqoo z1 does, for this model has a metal frame and glass panels. Generally mediatek is making a lot progress since the g series and the earlier p series. And this 1000 plus chip supports high end features, such as wifi6, 5g carrier aggregration and dual 5g standby. So do consider it regardless its minor flaw in heat control!

You can buy it from giztop for 313 euros. That's a bargain for what you are getting. I don't know what point you're trying to make. Even with customs tax, it'll still be around 370 maximum which is still good value. So yes you can get it outside of China by importing it. Just the same as most Chinese phones. You buy them from online stores like giztop, aliexpress, gearbest, etc.

Anonymous, 15 Aug 2020Still no OIS in any of the Cams. WTFYou don't get ois on phones for 250-350 euros. There's no wtf about it. This ain't a shock. It's never happened and it never will happen. OIS is not crucial. Just hold your phone steady or get a tripod or something. It'll still take perfectly good photos unless your zonked out on weed, drunk or suffer from the shakes. It has EIS for video. Most people are standing still when they take a photo so it's no biggie really.

It's not going to be released in China only. I think they mean it will not have an official global rom. Only a Chinese ROM. It's available to purchase on giztop, aliexpress and banggood so it can be imported.
