isn't the real ram is 2gb? according to the official website http://www.mi.com/en/redminote#param 1gb ram for 1,4ghz (standard edition) and 2gb ram for 1,7Ghz (enhanced edition)

-easily overheated for some games
-back cover really thin and easily loose/not good(annoying)
-battery is a average
-screen not bright enough under afternoon sunlight
-camera is clear but bad pixel
-sound is not clear

gono, 11 Oct 2014its battery is so bad. if u not using phone then also batt... moreNot sure if you're referring to the Redmi 1s or the Redmi Note but in my Redmi Note the battery is very good and long-lasting ; also, when the cell is not being used, my battery consumption is zero or just 1%. The key is to be aware which apps consume battery when not being used and to close or swipe it off when you're finished using the cell. Try this - open just one app then turn off your phone. Wait for around 10-15 minutes then open the phone - see if the battery % went down. If it did then this particular app consumes battery when it's idle so shut it down when not in use (example is Viber). Or, just press the close-all button before you off the phone. At night before sleeping I do this (phone is still on stand-by ready to receive emergency call or message) and if battery is 100% it goes to down to just 99% when I wake up in the morning. Hope this helps.

sv, 11 Oct 2014I got my redmi 1s recently.... it is getting heated up very... morefirst update your phone, it will take more than 500 MB data. Uninstall all those apps that u don't need like facebook app etc. In my case it solved almost all the problems. only problem now i feel for unavailability of 3g video calling. however skype video calling is working fine.
