already use this phone, and making my life more great, very good spec for its price, i think it will be the best samrtphone for it price, until now no other brand can beat his price LOL someone asking zenfone right, i can comment if u have much money to buy smartphone with build in heater and spec lower than xiaomi just buy zenfone or other expensive phone. for me this phone is the best i ever had, fyi screen is 320dpi so clear and not hurting my eyes. and MUIU is more customize than ordinary android

Camera result is good, but 5 Megapixels Samsung is is better than Redmi. Slightly heavy phone.

use it for a month and no problem at all.. heating is normal n not too much. all great.
battery is okay n can last for a day for wifi.
camera is average like 8mp camera.
sound not so good..
but what more u want in this super cheap phone?
all perfet for me coz i want it for screen n gaming only..
sorry bad english.

The phone will heat up very much, especially during 3G/2G internet connection..
the CPU temp was 60 degree and battery temp was 45 degree..
its very bad....
and one major defect for a dual sim phone, its MIUI defect...
We can't set different ringtones to 2 different SIM.
In all Dual sim phones that facility is available as far as I know. But in redmi 1s its not there...
Its very bad for me..... Difficult to differentiate family and office calls.
