I'm leaving you guys, got a Note 12 Pro 5G today to replace my aging Note 10 Pro. Won't miss the MicroSD card slot since I never used one anyway, and even got twice the storage I had with this one (256 vs 128 GB) and 8GB of RAM when I had 6GB with this.
It served me well, my best phone so far despite some issues I never managed to solve or get over it, like the random battery drain on idle. Might keep it as a spare, you never know.
So far I'm liking the new one a lot. Let's see if it is a worthy successor.

Is still worth buying i... moreyes in my opinion it is still worth buying it as it is a very complete phone with many features. remember dual SIM + SD Card. On holiday, business trip or similar there can always arise a situation where you either need a second SIM and or SD card. i switched to the 256 GB variant and currently have no SD card as 2 of my cards went bad but this is not fault of the phone.
To me with one exception (the compass problem with google maps) the phone really is brilliant -- rich camera features although the camera setup is medium fut the features are great (long exposures, manual control of ISO, panorama), the radios are good - wLAN stable, LTE stable, bluetooth stable and even the 3,5mm jack is good and not faulty.

Whereas my actual Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has fractured in dozens of pieces for not having a metal frame for reinforcement! That's all I had to say.

Battery-time was a LOT less, but after about a month it seems to have gotten better again. Not sure if it takes the phone "some time" to adjust to the new things...In any case im very happy with this coming from a Huawei P30 Lite which i lost while biking

Plastic frames were designed to lowering the costs and, since the bending happens with plastic frames another reason is to determine you to buy another phone!

Bending is unavoidable if you put it in the back pocket of tight jeans that will eventually crack the screen. If you got common sense you would avoid putting any phone on back pockets & put it on the front or just get a case that can be put on your belt.

Since it has a plastic frame and has been bending in my rear jeans' pocket the back phone's glass has cracked/fractured in small pieces. Stay away from phones with back glass and/or plastic frames since it doesn't reinforce adequately the back glass of the phone and the plastic frames let the glass bends enough to crack!

Have had this phone for close to two months. Good value for money. I have not had any major issues so far except choppy miui (changed to custom rom). I tried miui 14 and oh boy, that thing destroys the battery. Be mindful of the proximity sensor though, it is on and off.
The 120hz screen is good, speakers are loud, battery is solid (mostly 6-7hrs sot from moderate usage) and camera is fine for the price
