The main reaso... moreso just got MIUI14 / Android13 on my RN10Pro 256/8GB global version. Went smooth and i did not do any factory reset.
However strangely the compass problem in Google Maps also appears here : the map will not rotate into the direction of heading. i suppose google will fix this. all in all everything is perfect.

just switched from 128/8 EU to 256/8 GLOBAL
The main reason is that 2 SD cards went bad. I love dualSIM + SD and especially when on a voyage there can be a situation when all 3 slots are needed! But i do for now prefer 256 GB internal storage and no sd.
So what is the difference? I only had the 256/8 new global RN10Pro for a few days. I think that they changed a few sensors (the proximity) has no issues; maybe the display is slightly different / it appears brighter.
For now i still have Android12/MIUI13 on the Global where as the EU already had MIUI14 and Android 13.
Yet i will not attempt any manualy updates.
Have NOT really found out what difference there is between EU and GLOBAL?
The new phone appears slightly more performant but that is only felt and not very technical.
Cell signal / reception is about the same (Vienna, Austria) i have a spot in my building where quality is very poor so i was able to compare.
Will keep you informed.
Overall THE PHONE IS VERY GOOD - brilliant for the price!

I have had the mobile phone for about 5 months and I can say that it was one of the best purchases I had made.
It has not caused me any hardware issues (at least not yet) and at the price I got it for (€250, 8GB/128GB) I believe it works very well for its price compared to mobile phones of the same price and more from other companies (a friend of mine had get a samsung cell phone for €350 with the same features but I think mine is better and faster). The only downside for many is that it doesn't have 5G in signal, I've never needed it and I don't think it's that important as it has a very bad price and features and mobiles that have 5G at the same price are significantly worse, but that changes with the function what the user intends to do with it, of course it supports 5G on WiFi but I didn't see much difference except for latency (ping).
Its battery for me is good during the day, of course I have seen that its performance has changed quite a bit compared to when I got it.
Also, those of you who want to or have used it should know that the cell phone itself has a pretty good screen glass protector.
The software and the fingerprint are the only issues that bother me as there are some small issues with the software that if they are that important to someone it is something that can be fixed with new updates or if you root it and the fingerprint seems a bit slow to me and not in such a good point.
Final conclusion: if you want it for simple work it's very good but if I were you I would delete some of the apps and turn off all app recomendations and ads personalisations from the settings, now if you want it for hard work it's still very good with 8GB/128GB, of course, you might have expected a faster processor, but personally, any application that is stuck or takes too long is due to a network issue, not hardware.
~Personal Experiences~
A very major issue with the software that I still have is that the Gallery App that comes with the phone and can't be uninstalled started eating up my battery a lot one day (was eating 50%).
I have done as many updates as needed, I downloaded other apps to see if a photo that had become corrupt caused this issue but nothing, through the information of the app I also saw that it was using the internet a lot.
So far I haven't found a solution, it could be something with the Xiaomi Cloud that was full for me but I had emptied it too. Now, as a temporary solution, I've removed all app permissions, disabled it from running in the background, and removed its ability to connect to the internet, and I'm now using Google Photos as my main gallery.
I have done all the necessary actions and given all the information about my problem to Xiaomi but so far nothing has been done.
Anyway as an app it's very good and it's a big disappointment that I can't use it but I had to choose between my phone heating up and losing 20% while it's off or being able to use it normally.

I bought the fourth headphones, Bluetooth version 5.1 and they work without problems. I'm not sure if that's the reason, but check the Bluetooth version on your headphones

Ever since I update my phone with the miui 13 my phone always hang. Screen freeze and screen touch wont work until you restart it. What a shame for redmi note 10 pro. I will switch to another phone brand not satisfies with redmi note series.

2 days ago i received a notification for MIUI14 update. I'm afraid that the update (like MIUI13) will turn my phone again into a "brick with lights" no sound, sim not working, phone crashes often and so on, i had it repaired and fortunately was covered by warranty. Now 5 months later my phone works perfectly i think ill wait for a month or two for MIUI14.

Newer Google Apps versio... morethat is actually a good idea. i do use APKMIRROR regulary to download the latest googlePlayServices (versions with the suffix ...190400 for that phone) as they are also pushed earlier there than in play store. Will thy the same with googeMaps. i also use the APKMirrorInstaller which can handle the bundle versions instead of the apk files. Will do that with google maps. As stated in the other posting, the magnetic sensors seem to work fine according to the CIT menu, and also the compass app of Xiaomi shows no issue, so i am quite convinced it is a Google Maps thing.

Also, the compass app of Xiaomi works perfectly - actually a good app! when holding the phone horizontally, it shows a traditional compass, when turning it vertical, the camera comes on in the screen shows the bearing direction in which i am pointing and it is astonishingly accurate, even indoor. So it must be a little glitch with Google Maps and i suppose it will be gone in the next update
