Anonymous, 06 Jan 2023Did you do a factory wipe or reset after updating/upgrading... morei didnt do a factory reset, idk if that would help, not sure what you mean by updating since the phone came with android 12 out of the box, I use dark mode, i dont use aod and im on 60hz refresh rate but i have extended memory tho, i will try using the phone for some time after bootloader unlocking which does a factory reset and i will test out some roms to see if its a miui issue or if i just got a faulty model.
About the bloatware, i know you can disable it using some adb commands, but i dont really have a need to do that, i have enough storage right now

If you want to save battery turn on dark mode, dont use AOD, lower the refresh rate to 60hz & for stability disable or dont use extended memory since the phone have 8GB ram.
Also if you want to "disable" & not remove(can cause problem during firmware update) preinstalled bloatwares that you dont use, you can do ADB tweak via PC.

I got the 8/256 variant on christmas, since they only started selling that variant a few months ago, it came with android 12 + miui 13, and i can definitely confirm heating and battery issues, its not drastic but you can notice that the phone is losing battery precentage and is heating up (not overheating tho) faster than it should if you do basic tasks like scrolling on twitter for about 45-60 minutes, which im not sure if its caused by miui 13 or if i just got a faulty model, but otherwise its a great phone, im coming from a lg g4 so my exceptions are low but i have been able to run heavier games completely fine on this phone, im waiting for the bootloader unlock waiting time to end so i can try out some custom roms since i dont like miui

I just bought my phone redmi note 1... morenotification issues... its due to miui battery saving thing... miui kills the app again n again... so the solution is ... for example u want whats app & facebook messger etc .. tap and hold the icon... go to "app info" there tick auto start and then go to "battery saver" click on it and select "no restrictions" ... now u will get all notifications instantly...

Maybe its in the settings, try using the Android Stock Notification instead of the Miui one.

Login your accounts afterwards.I finished factory reset after that I installed messenger app and try if my floating notifs will work and my light up screen when i receive notifications. At first it works but it needs that the app are in my recent if not floating and light up screen (when my screen is locked) wont work. so I tried going to other settings and allow all and started to download all my app that I use but now I notice the it doesnt work again and i cant receive some of my notifs in other apps like my twitter.
Should I factory reset it? or is just in the settings? but if it is in the settings I dont know anymore where to allow.

Did you do a factory wipe or reset after first time update/upgrading? If not do so after backing up, removing locks & logging out accounts & disabling or not using memory extender then observe. This usually fixes transitional issues from major os upgrades.

Actually good budget phone. I hate MIUI so I installed Arrow OS 12 and so far so good. Camera and display definitely good for it price. But the downside for this phone is heating management. Overheat? No, but like warmer than it should be.

I bought Xioami Redmi Note 10 Pro 8/256GB yesterday,and the battery is draining very fast, i player a game for about 1-2 hour and the rest i was scrolling in social media.And after 4 Hours my phone battery was at 35%.My previous phone Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro,the battery didn't drained so fast,If i stayed 2 Hours on social media and 2 in a game my battery would be at 60-70%.I saw someone on YouTube doing a battery drain test on Xiaomi Note 10 Pro.And he watched a YouTube video for 2 Hours and his battery got from 100% to 89%,and then playing Asphalt 9 for 3 hour and from 89% tot 61%.BTW, Im using 60HZ and Dark Mode.Does my phone have a problem? Should i get a new one dame model?
