Many reports of issues like dead camera, complete brick, is because of data migrating while updating (android 11 to 12) as it heats up too much in the process. So it is recommend to fresh reset, place it in the cool place (ac room) before update, then u will be fine. :)

I hope that Xiaom... moreBeen using mine since last year I purchased, like maybe March of 2021 so its now more than a year old with no major issues, though the earlier versions of Miui 13 had bugs but it eventually got fixed on later updates.

          Also if you buy always get the Global China or EU not the India ones. Then first do updates/upgrades out of the box, then after updates/upgrades do a factory wipe/reset. Disable/Dont use memory extender(fixes alot of app crashes/slow loading), then you can finally login your accounts.

                                      After 1 1/2 year of usage this is my experience (still on MIUI 12.5.5 Indonesian version).
                                      The battery is solid it used to be 10 hours SOT on average now i got about 8,5 - 10 hours SOT.
                                      It freezes for 2-3 seconds randomly sometimes (Youtube and Whatsapp)
                                      It crashes and restart four times and bootlooping 1 time
                                      The proximity sensor is still misbehaving when playing audio from whatsapp
                                      Other than that this phone is really good especially for the price
