Xiaomi is yet to release a mid-ranger phone to beat the R Note-10 Pro. I sold mine last month after using it for almost a year and a half and got a Samsung A53, in a short period of time I realized this was a mistake, so I ordered another R Note10 Pro last week and selling my A53. Learn from my mistake and keep your R Note10 Pro and do not upgrade to the 11 Pro or a mid-tier Sammy phone. Nothing comes even close, in it's price bracket! >> Peace

Bought last Sept. 23, 2022. Works fine. Love the camera esp night mode. Best with Gcam 8.1 when it comes to 4K 30 fps (Wide & Ultrawide) recording w/ EIS. Don't have plan to upgrade since i've read lot of negative feedback about upgrading to MIUI 13 ^_^

Got my redmi note 10 pro global and it running g8 no problems plus jus updated to Android 12 miui 13.

If that is the case, I'm sure I will be seeing more people complain about the camera.

Also, I live in Cyprus where summer heat is unbearable. Not saying people with problems are lying, but they must be the exemptions

What to get? Actually I'm leaning with Redmi Note 10 Pro with its good spec but the usual issues of front camera breaking (that needs CPU Reball) after updating to Miui 13 is a big downer. Not sure if this is just an isolated one for Redmi Note 10 Pros that have a manufacturing date of 2021.
I just want a balance phone with a good display, and decent gaming performance plus not really into Cameras and 5g is really not a priority. Poco X4 Pro 5g downer is that it doesn't have HDR, it's video playback is only capped at 1080p specifically speaking in Youtube App or video streaming, L3 on Netflix not sure if it is L1 already.

Shattering your phone from anger though... are you sure you don't have any anger issues? I get angry with things but I would never annihilate something that I bought with my hard-earned money. Oh well, I guess it is your money though so I won't judge any further. :))

This phone's software is pure crap. Good hardware alone with okay-ish software makes for a bad user experience. In the end, I shattered my Note 10 Pro in anger. I went back to Samsung with the A52 5G. I never should have bought a 3rd rate phone like Xiaomi, but sometimes the wallet forces me to make such ill-informed decisions.

Nathbillionz, 25 Sep 2022I've not updated mine ever since I bought it, now it&#... moreI just updated without thinking about it too much, so I really can't advise anything. In terms of battery draining, for me it is just as same as it was before I updated.
Also, I didn't do the factory wipe/reset when I updated from MIUI 12.5 (Android 11) to MIUI 13 (Android 12). Everything seems fine to me, except the front camera thing I discussed in the previous comments.
