I come to realise most of the people who have comment are not the really user of the phone

Phonimanic, 11 Nov 2021Phone is worst. Poco X 3 pro is the best all rounder. IPS L... moreStop lying...you've clearly not used this phone before. I have this phone and it's awesome.....yes the software is crappy and the proximity issue is there but not a deal breaker. Where is your evidence for the second rate screens used on this phone??
Everything else is great on this phone.....
          1. Great Screen
          2. Headphone jack
          3. Stereo speakers
          4. Good cameras
          5. FM Radio (for those who like that)
          6. Awesome processing and storage

The only con is the software...
Yes, it's bad but not terrible and the proximity sensor issue is not a deal breaker

Need help. I just got this global version from Aliexpress. I used Metro but apparently the phone doesn't work on Metro but works on TMobile and Mint (which uses TMobile towers and the Sim says TMobile). I can get and make phone calls but my text messages either don't work, are slow and I don't get pictures or they take forever to get when someone texts me. The APN was automatically set to TMobile US epc.tmobile.com which is supposed to be for non LTE phones. Upon Googling TMobile's website the APN setting should be fast.t-mobile.com and the MMSC setting should be http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc HOWEVER that MMSC setting is only under the epc.tmobile.com setting and says NOT SET and cannot be changed/edited on the fast.t-mobile.com settings so....HELP! I really need to get texts and pix texted as that is how I do some business. PLEASE I need some tech help and the Mint Mobile people don't seem to know sh*t! Thanks

IPS LCD keeps quality panels than second quality amoled used in redmi except samsung. Surprisingly i never thought camera of poco is this much awesome and sharp as i thought its only a gaming performance phone. Photos are natural n crisp in x3 pro. 120 hz refresh rate does its best and magnetic finger touch experience of higher touch sampling rate.
I regret buying second using phone redmi note 10 pro with lot of hang display n flickering issues with ordinary cameras and cheap amoleds

Samsung amoleds are awesome n reliable. Others are marketing gimmicks. Plenty of redmi 10 pro and max coming in service centres with hang issues, display stuck, proximity sensor malfunctioning, Flickering light problems. Lot of people put this to sell in Olx. Company also discontinued this. Honestly... Dont give head buying note 10 pro n max

Niivelli, 08 Nov 2021*#*#86583#*#*Yes, this solution 100% works to enable VoLTE for my RN10P running on MIUI 12.0.1

                  ***************
                  (www.xiaomist.com/2020/07/what-is-volte-and-how-can-you-activate.html?m=1)

VoLTE is generally disabled on our Xiaomi smartphones. To activate VoLTE on a Xiaomi , Redmi or POCO we only have to do the following steps:

                  - Dial * # * # 86583 # * # *. After that, the message will appears : " VoLTE Carrier check was disabled "
thus activating VoLTE on our Xiaomi.

                  - Next we will go to Settings> SIM cards and mobile networks
Once inside we will activate the option Use VoLTE .

                  - If our Xiaomi is a Dual SIM smartphone, the VoLTE option will be found in Settings> SIM cards and mobile networks> SIM1 / SIM2.

                  ***********************""

                  - Tap to the SIM1 or SM2, then we will see the option: "Use VoLTE" either to ON or OFF it.

                  - Reboot phone. If the VoLTE still does not appears, please check & update the latest APN setting for SIM's service provider.

                  That's all.

Best Budget Phone, 09 Nov 2021What do you suggest then? I read many opinions and review a... moreMost phones, if not all of them, have a major flaw or two. The dealbreaker for some, non-issue for others. I have no suggestions for you. I've never bought a phone based on someone's suggestions. You don't need to post on a forum like this to make a decision. Actually it'd be better if you didn't post. You should know what is important for you. You have some experience using smartphones, haven't you? This site is quite good for comparing devices, specs. Just do some research, pick the one that suits your needs best, then read some opinions, reports about problems (coz if the device is on the market for a few month, there will be some) and then decide if you are ok with it. It's not rocket science.

john, 08 Nov 2021Here is how I managed to save battery in this software faul... morehonestly saying.. until this minutes I would have my RN10P running smoothly with FULL battery life not less than 2.5 days / approx. 58-70 hours for every single charge 1-100%.

simply i will get 2 days + few hours with heavy usage (work days) .. with PEACE of MIND using it or staying in my pocket.. other days will reach 70++ hours..how amazing i felt to this achievement. SINCE APRIL 2021!

NO fancy apps to throttle the networks.. NO weird setting.. NO limitation to phone's functionalities nor apps excess levels..

THE ONLY SOLUTION of mine.. FLASH MY PHONEs ROM BACK TO MIUI 12.0.1.. THAT's ALL i did after SILLY-mistake upgraded to MIUI 12.5.X -Xn

and keep selective updates for system apps.. if u want some refreshing features.. STOP to bargain with fancy, too frequent non important/ offers/ auto for apps in google play.. except for forced compulsory updates. most of them are JUNKS .. use your phone as yours.. not xiaomi's or google's.. no harm at all.. if to keep this phone at lower version MIUI. you will prolong this phone's harware life.. believe that.. THAT'S ALL..

Galaxy M51 vs RN 10 pro. what is your choice point?

As the same segment many options like Moto g40/60, Oppo F19, Realme 8/ 7 pro, Mi 10i, Nord N10, Nova 7i etc. available.

                        I searched a lot.

Now give your point of view and help to take decision.

The screen is inferior to the RMN10Pro's screen, phone has only one speaker of medicore quality, bulky size, and the biggest of them all: no band aggregation, which means you are going to have coverage problems in rural areas.
People think proximity sensor annoyances in RMN10Pro are bad? Try buying a phone that you may not be able to use outside of town.

this dumb xiaomi phone like note 5 onwards all doesnt have physical proximity sensor its using fake gyro, you will suffer on using whatsapp, listening message on driving using car mount will turn the screeen off for no reason , and no way to disable it.
