It has the worst camera ever. My previous Galaxy J7 Prime (2016) has better camera.
I do not recommend it at all.

A very good phone display is very exceptional, camera is very good, speakers are on point, and the procesor is very fast, it does not overheat... The only downside is the battery.

I use this device about 2 months, it's absolutely crisp, display is awesome, 120hz fluid, just one thing downgrade that's camera, not 4k or 60fps, may b next update add these features. Best of luck, I from PAKISTAN....🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰

Hello to all! I have the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5G Pro, and the voice call sound quality is beyond horrible. Sometimes the caller cannot hear me (it's absolutely beyond frustrating). Secondly, activating the speaker phone does not seem to work. I've already tried to play with the sound settings, watched a bunch of YouTube videos about this issue, but to no avail. Also, this phone does not seem to have WiFi Calling. Does anyone know if it does, and if so, how to enable it. Any help would be appreciated.

Great phone, but ONLY 1080p video???! Too bad! Note 10 Pro has 4K And IT Is lower class, And this newer phone not. What a Mistake!!!

Besides the unavailability of 4k video recording which come to think of it is hardly used, this device is just perfect. Swift fingerprint, smooth performance , brilliant display under sunlight, beautiful, elegant, and feels premium. The camera is top notch.

I actually got a Android 12 update on this phone. Latest MIUI version is available MIUI 13.0.2.0 SGDEUXM.

1080p resolution is completely fine for me. The only real thing about 4k is that is sharper than 1080p. 4k is gonna fill space inside the phone.
Also the proximity sensor works great even though it's virtual. Is fast when I move my hand far and close many times. Always works. So....
I don't care about the hybrid SIM slot. Its still expandable storage and I don't travel too much. So 2 SIM's are useless for me.

waelqumsieh, 20 Oct 2022i agree, the sound is muffled while recording video.Microphone audio is on AAC y default. On MP3 mode te sound is crystal clean. You can change it in the settings.

Anonymous, 19 Oct 2022Its good phone but the problem I have seen is that it has n... moreYou see, most xiaomi phones have problems using instagram and snapchat because of how processing images work on these apps. instagram and snapchat is not gonna take the time to progam their app to work perfectly on the hundreds of xiaomi that come out each year so they use a one-size-fits-all programming method that unfortunatetly does not take advantage of all the things this camera can do. easiest way to fix this is to take your photos with the normal camera app then edit them on snapchat or instagram. another is to use camerax-enablled apps like Camera360 which is a new programming method that works amazingly for photo proccessing.
