I don’t understand why xiaomi has limited them to provide side mounted FP it certainly doesn’t feel premium

* OK knowing the comment section is gonna be a xiaomi and apple's fanboys' fight club; i'mma post my comment and leave it to yall.
- I already own a rn10 pro and looks like xiaomi has backtracked with this phone.
- They ditched the depth cam which made for decent bokeh in portraits, replaced the capabale 5mp macro for a worse one, and while 33w charging was already fine and better than competition, they decided to beat up a dead horse.
- Though the promo pics look nice, I'm sure the handling is not going to be better than the 10 series which design's where matured and had everyone's appreciation, not to mention extra weight and thickness. (some of this is understandable due to 5g antennas and aluminum frame but still for the worse!)
* What minor plus points i can give to xiaomi are:
+ upgrade on the processing side
+ 360hz touch sampling
+ somewhat smaller punchhole and bezels
> As with my experience with rn10pro, the outstanding features that made it sell like hotcakes were 1.cameras 2.display 3.swiss army knife of usable features 4.stereo setup
> So instead of 120/67w charging, celebrity packed marketing campaign, eyegrabbing jbl logos they should have aimed for:
1. Adding ois to main cam and on the event of ditching depth and macro, upgrade the ultrawide in the megapixel count or try adding af to existing units (I've seen hella ghosting in pictures and even weirder artifacts in hdr pics, so the ois was crucial)
2. rn10pro's display was punching above it's weight and since i've seen enough good amoleds from chinese makers, the panel not being from samsung wouldn't be a problem (although it must be noticed rn10pro didn't have a nice callibration on miui level)
3. Keeping SD slot/IR blaster/3.5 jack/nfc alive!
4. the speakers on rn10pro are very good indeed, definitely not as good as a mi11 but good enough not to pay a premium for marketing mumbo jumbo, so maybe keep it simple
5. and the fifth point point which didn't count toward rn10pro strengths is the soc. the 732g is capable but if they could give people more value, why not? upgrading it to dimensity 920 is good but i'm sure they could do more without lowering their profit margins. ditch the glass back, the aluminum frame, the extra charger wattage, jbl licensing fees, chinese celebrities, flimsy phone guards and useless protector films, and if they may, choice for optional chargers in the box and then they could save enough bucks for a 108mp cam with ois, a 8mp ultrawide with autofocus, and maybe even a dimensity 1100 or sd860.
I hope that this is just the chinese release and global offerings are more packed. Don't let the marketing units become more obese with the money that could be put in better use. No one wants another cyberpunk 2077.

207 g? Big dfferent about 10 gram than the note 10 pro, why Xiaomi u should keep the weight no more than 200 g, time to get rid from Xiaomeme phones

lol no SD card, the camera setup is the same (kinda worse) than Note 10 Pro. thanks xiaomi. now Note 10 Pro's price will drop like a rock, i will buy mine for cheap now.

face palm...why the is the camera setup an step backwards????? would have been disappointed if it was the same as note 10 pro but it's an step back! why even have a 2MP Macro? should have left out that 2MP macro for a 13MP Ultra wide lens...

This is a crazy value if you don't mind big phones and MIUI. Unfortunately I've given up on both of these. Just doesn't work for me.
