Hudinited, 08 Feb 2022What's the reason for it despite tou want to argue? Most likely because both SD690 & SD750G can record above 1080p upto 4k with EIS/OIS & HDR unlike SD695 cannot due to qualcomm deciding to limit it.

Also tha Oppo SE 5G is using Dimensity soc.

The Image Signal Processor in the 695 itself is limited to 1080p30fps for Video Capture. It's a hardware limitation. You can put GCAM all you want or any software to try unlock 4K but at the end it won't work. Best you'll get is a fake 4K Video by stretching a 1080p vid.

Also first phone doesn't use that chipset, it uses a more powerful Dimensity Chipset. You can check it yourself on the Qualcomm and Nanoreview website. Also you can easily fake 4K by stretching a 1080p photo.
It's Snapdragon 690 that can record in 4K

SD695 uses Spectra 346T ISP and ISP(short for Image Signal Processor) is responsible for Capturing the images as well as videos. CPU and GPU alone can't do that. Why is everyone preaching here without even looking at the crystal clear facts. Qualcomm's website is just a quick search away smh

Also, CPU and GPU aren't responsible for recording, ISP is.

While there are already phones like this, Oppo A96, motorola G71 & maybe others released using gimped SD695 that cant record above 1080p videos! With no EIS even HDR maybe. So if you are after a phone for Videos this aint for you but if just for gaming, photos or 5G & not videos then maybe this is fine but for that price, Id want to have all package available so it aint worth it.
