note series is famous for their accurate prizing at their launch but now they are also using samsung's bullshit prize strategy of first lauch with higher price and after some time reduce to its actual prize.i also lost faith on redmi products also.

Good to know note 12 pro don't have this issue, it is certainly top of my list now :) Thanks for the help, greatly appreciated!

YouTube delivers HDR content to the phone and I can't notice any black crush or smearing. You could go to a store and test the phone there as well, this one and the Pro+ share the same panel AFAIK.

That... moreAlmost all dark movie scenes on my samsung s20fe have some sort of black crush or smudges, sometimes so washed out and dark i can barely make out what's going on. Just need to know if you have same issue during dark scenes with netflix, youtube etc. Any help much appreciated thanks.

I had one phone with an OLED screen in the past and when I went to lower the brightness it lowered the gamma instead.
Does this do the same or does it lower in brightness like most phones do?

Hi, need some feedback regarding the display. Most of the time i use my phone for making calls, internet and watching videos on streaming services, i don't game. The main issue with my current samsung is the black crush or smudges during dark movie scenes. Anyone can confirm that this model don't have the this issue? Thanks in advance.

Redmi's have more modern features though, larger batteries, higher refresh rate, faster charging, better cameras... So it would be up to you to decide.
