Anonymous, 10 Nov 2023How can i update mine to higher android version?If you're not receiving OTA for whatever reason, go into settings>additional settings and switch your region to Indonesia. OTA should appear then(of the correct version for your phone). Once updated you can switch back to whatever country you're from.

My apologies for my first post and if I have posted it in the wrong place.
Can someone please explain to me why it appears that there is no proper User Manual for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G? If there is one, I apologise as I have spent more than an hour looking for it and would very much appreciate the URL so that I can download it.
All I can find is the worse than useless Quick Start Guide!! In this day and age to not have manuals available in electronic form is inexcusable.
I found the instructions for disassembling the phone complete with colour pictures.

Hopefully Android 14 will arrive soon to it.

Battery life has improved tremendously after update to 14.0.2.0.TM0MIXM (Global Rom). Everything appears to be working fine after one week on the new update.

Working amazingly great on EEA global Android 13 - 14.0.6.0. They fixed a few issues the phone had (Android 13 stutters, Google Maps compass bug, 100% charge bug).
I had originally the Global ROM branch but they're VERY slow with updates and I got tired of it. Unlocked the bootloader and switched to EEA.

I would just like to note that there is no such model as Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. If you do not name the selected models by their right names it creates a total confusion. The model here is probably Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G. Besides this one, the other common models are Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G.

Indeed it really charged fast but it also consumed battery so fast.

I used to have it (triggered the update by changing regions), and honestly, it had worse performance. After a few weeks I unlocked my bootloader and flashed back Android 12 and it is way snappier, been fine ever since. So I could guess the build probably wasn't optimized enough and they took it down.
