Indeed it really charged fast but it also consumed battery so fast.

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2023SMOMiXM is my global version That's weird, but maybe they withdrew the update. I used to have it (triggered the update by changing regions), and honestly, it had worse performance. After a few weeks I unlocked my bootloader and flashed back Android 12 and it is way snappier, been fine ever since. So I could guess the build probably wasn't optimized enough and they took it down.

The phone heats of every time whether I do multitasking or I do charging or I play games or for normal use it get heated up every time I use.

Global is indeed lagging behind though. Global European ROM has received two or three updates on Android 13 already.

Android 13 not available on the global version yet. I believe EU and China versions have already since August. Global seems to be last for everything.

I have problem with this phone. I can't copy files on him neither from him, with usb cable, it just stops on half. Tried with mp3 and jpeg files. Same files are successfuly copied over phones usb otg connection from usb stick. Contacted Xiaomi service but they don't care about this, they won't produce softweare patch for this. Same problem i have on Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and on Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, they have same problem with copy over usb cable. Anyone experience same problem?

justasmile, 03 Oct 2023Why would you prefer MIUI to one UI though?Good Question. I've used a lot of Samsung phones for a long time and In 2023 their UI feels outdated to me, they haven't evolved much aesthetically and customization wise the whole ui is beginning to look bland me. First of all, miui has way better animations and gives me a more premium feel when navigating through the UI. Secondly, I find MiUi way more customizable. I don't need third party launchers to change my icons and homes screen to any phones home screen I want my phone to look like, I can change my control centre style, i can change my recents app style, MiUi even let's me change down to my batter indicator bar icon and lockscreen all from the default theme app without any third party app. You can't do much in oneUi. Thirdly, the amount of free fonts and widgets you can get on miui is almost limitless, whereas on every Samsung phone, there is a limited amount of FREE fonts you can get. Also, second space has become an integral feature for me on an android phone. Trust me, Samsungs secure folder doesn't come close to what second space is for privacy. All in all, to me MiUi feels more like what an android phone is supposed to be in 2023 while OneUi just feels like they are playing it safe afraid to make any big changes, kinda like the apple way. And so.. Ever since I switched from my Refurbished problem ridden Samsung Note 10 to A brand new Redmi note 11 pro+ 5G Two years ago, I've just been hooked on MiUi and I've never looked back since.
