Camera is good but not great, meaning it can deliver decent photos (with a right angle and lighting), anyhow, most of the time am using filters. Currently on 7.2.3.0 MIUI Global, its stable, refined OS & MIUI, no lags, kinda smooth.

I suggest that you flash the Global version to resolve your problem. You may visit the miui forum to guide you.

                                Hi,
I'm using xaomi note 2 prime.
i have been using it for 5-6 months and last week my phone has some charging problem and I went to xaomi store and they changed the charger panel i guess, then it was ok again. but the result is that my phone can barely get 3G network. it mostly can only connect to 2G. i dont' know what is wrong.
And also this phone back camera can't get any focus. it use to have fine and clear focus. I dont' know what is wrong, can someone tell me how to solve it?

AnonD-482417, 10 Apr 2016Battery problem? Most of redmi note 2/ prime on the mark... moreXiaomi Redmi Note 2 review: Memory, Camera & Battery Life
The Redmi Note 2 comes with 32GB of internal storage, but you can add to that figure using the phone's MicroSD card slot, a feature many cutting-edge Android handsets omit these days. Taking this into account and the existence of cloud-storage services such as Google Drive and Dropbox it's unlikely that you're ever going to be short of space with this handset.

The phone's rear-facing 13 megapixel camera boasts phase detection auto-focus which means it can grab the shot you want faster than its rivals. The sensor is Samsung-made so the image quality is superb, and effortlessly outranks the shots produced by Google's Nexus 6, which is also much slower to achieve focus. Various custom shooting modes are included, and 1080p video recording is also on offer. The front-facing 5 megapixel camera is good for 720p video, too.

The phone's 3060mAh battery is a roomy beast and allows you to get well over 24 hours of use out of a single charge without too much bother. Because it's user-removeable, you can buy a spare and swap it out if you're away from home for long periods. However, the phone doesn't have fast charging capability, despite what some early reports suggested. It's not a massive loss and unless you're switching from a phone which has the tech, you won't have cause to complain.

The Redmi Note 2 isn't a perfect phone by any means, but it's powerful, reasonably good-looking, has great screen and a fantastic camera - as well as other bonuses such as a MicroSD slot and two SIM slots. Add in a truly brilliant interface in the shape of MIUI 7 and you've got a device which wins you over the moment you pick it up.

However, what's truly stunning is the price - retailers such as ibuygou are shipping the unit to the UK for around £125, which places it in the same price bracket as budget Android blowers with far weaker specifications. The only real complaints are the lack of fast charging and NFC, but these will matter less to entry-level buyers who just want a fast and versatile handset.

Apart from having a 5.5-inch full-HD display, the Note 2 sports a MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core 64-bit processor. It also has 2GB of RAM, which isn't a lot, as well as a mere 16GB of onboard storage, but it does have a microSD card slot if you need more storage. The Redmi Note 2 comes with dual-SIM 4G, which is pretty good if you are traveling overseas and want to use a local SIM card to save on roaming fees, without removing your everyday SIM.

I found the phone to easily last me through the day on a full charge, and was able to hit 9 hours and 10 minutes in our continuous video playback tests. That's a pretty decent timing, especially for a phone with a 3,060mAh battery -- the OnePlus 2, which had a 3,300mAh battery, checked in at 9 hours 46 minutes. It's still not as good as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, however, as the 3,000mAh battery of the Note 5 easily lasted 15 hours in our tests.

                                        Is the battery removable?
Yes! If you're afraid that the battery might not last long enough for you, there's always the option of swapping it out for a fresh one. You can do this on the Redmi Note 2, and a fresh spare battery is obviously lighter than carrying a portable charger around.

Which is better, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 or the Asus ZenFone Selfie? Which other phones could I get instead?
At $150, the Redmi Note 2 is quite a steal, I reckon, given its much better performance and the very important fact that it comes without the bloatware plaguing the ZenFone Selfie. Even with the usual slight premium from third-party online retailers, the Note 2 will likely still shine in value. Phones such as the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 or the Droid Maxx 2 are more expensive while offering performance that's slightly under the Note 2.
