If only i can post a picture, i would gladly post the screen capture here.

But there's no icon shortcut in the home screen and not able to use it and customize. I read in a forum of miui, that in the latest update, they removed the Theme app for Global version.

    Mine is MIUI 7.2.2.0 (LHMMIDA) MIUI GLOBAL 7.2 STABLE Android version 5.0.2

      Check Settings > Installed Apps and scroll to see if you have the Themes App.

      If yes, tap on it and check to see if you have disabled or stopped it. Or select Running tab at the top and make the same check.

      If you don't have it, you may have to re-install it from the Android market. Mine says Themes Version 0.8. My Android OS is 5.0.2 LRX22G.

            This is a great phone! And the low price makes it awesome!

            The battery in my 5yo Sony Ericsson Xperia phone (which still works fine) was dying so had to buy a new one. My first choice was a Sony M4 Aqua, but the dealer outlet (Challenger, Singapore) didn't have it. Next choice was the promo Asus Zenphone 2, they said all outlets had no stock. The only mid/low price phone available was the Redmi Note 2. Its list price was cheaper than the Zenphone promo price!

            Updated to MIUI Global 7.2 (thanks, Radeyal!) & removed/disabled unwanted apps/tools.

            The phone itself feels nice to handle & use, sleek & elegant. UI is fairly intuitive. Lollipop is fine for me for now. Touch response is very crisp.

            Been using it for a week now. Working beautifully so far. Still early days but I have a good feeling about this phone.

            Battery lasts 1.5 days with my normal usage: mainly messaging & internet browsing, camera & 1 or 2 basic apps. I played YT music videos for 6 hours & there was absolutely no heat problem, just slight extra warmth as compared to normal. Purely in standby mode, battery showed 100% for more than an hour.

            I could easily transfer files from a Windows Phone & from my laptop using BT w/o any problems.

            The best thing for me is the OTG, since I need to use files/folders from my laptop when I am out. Now I don't have to carry heavy, bulky items. Alternatively, i can insert an external SD card & transfer files to there. (Had a Samsung Note 10 with OTG but after just 2 months' use, rapidly flashing lines appeared on the screen & got worse over time & also it's heavy to carry.)

            I am quite careful with carrying & handling my phones & very, very rarely drop them. Since this model does not have Gorilla glass, maybe users should handle their phones a little more carefully.

            I am so far very happy with this amazing phone. :-D

                    Pankaj, 18 Mar 2016Is it support OTG feature? Yes the Redmi Note 2 supports USB OTG without the need of modifications. The native file manager will also play just fine with a USB OTG device. Mine has a terrible battery life, but I am awaiting a replacement battery I ordered. Cannot confirm if this is a manufacturer defect or just mine since I bought it second hand

                          Saving battery tips. If you are using global stable rom already then you are on the right path yo save battery.. Nothing else we can do, only use performance mode when necessary.

                          So now we cannot change the theme? Haha i will not install the update then..

                            Just notice, the THEME icon was disappeared. Now, there's no icon for that to customize the theme of the home screen and icons. I just updated to the newest 7.2.2.0 (LHMMIDA) MIUI GLOBAL 7.2 STABLE. Any idea?

I think since both my sim cards are connected to the same network (docomo) only one will work at a time. still need to try a 4G sim that connects to a different network (if there is any here in Japan) to pair with my 3G sim.

                                        Did i understand it correctly? Hmmm im not sure.. Hahaha...

                                        Here, both sim i use is 4g. If 1 i set default for internet connection. Then the other 1 still active, receiving signal. Can do voice call and SMS.
