Try this: en.miui.com.
Download latest global stable rom for redmi note 2. (Zip file, 945mb +/-).

Download directly from your redmi note 2 is ok. Save the file to wherever in external memory (SD card).

Open updater, do not check for update, press (...) at the top right corner.
Choose update package, Browse for the file you just downloaded. Then press ok.

Wait for the process.. Your files and the apps you installed will not be affected..
But preinstalled apps may be deleted or changed.

        The unit I got has MIUI 7.0 Stable 7.0.99.99.
        I'm not sure if this is a distributor version but.. yeah, I can't uninstall youtube that plays the 5 minutes 480p video 4 or 5x its length..
        I don't know what to do with this one..

Which is better than you have only one fixed battery with slightly higher capacity as on note 3. What will you do after the battery weaken? More effort on note 3

            Note 2 have sd card slot which is good way to simply expanding the storage memory.note 3 doesnt.

            Note 2 price is lower than note 3, i consider this as good.

            Performance? Did you know redmi note 2 prime has a quicker 2.2ghz octacore processor? That is (potentially,/only in performance mode) faster than 2.0ghz on redmi note 3.
            32gb version of redmi note 3 using 3gb ram which is the knly thing i considered better than 2gb on redmi note 2 prime.

            Note 3 (maybe) has somewhat better appearance and slightly more features.

            If performance vs price value is what you're looking for. Note 2 is always the better choice.

                    Hi Guys.. I received this phone 2 weeks ago.. No pop-ups or unnecessary ads appearing in the screen. Everything in the phone is in English. It has good features.
                    HOWEVER, the battery drains like 1% every 2:26 minutes when jus browsing articles. Among the 5 CP I have at the moment of writing this (2 are Android 4.4), this Redmi Note 2 has the poorest WiFi connectivity.. always the last one to receive the very same message.. always the last one to finish playing or downloading the very same video.
                    ANY SOLUTION FOR THIS?
