U maybe not getting any OTA updates that means U must have to download manually from MIUI website. Go to MIUI forum to learn how it can be done.

DragonFIRE, 20 Apr 2018In love with MIUI so never thought of custom rom.. hardware... moreHahaha...desires dont have limit.Be satisfied what you got...aftererall custom miui gives some important features of latest android every year.if miui updates will be stopped in coming years switch to another latest device...but use this one until its serving you better.
Split screen feature is there in developer version 8.4.12 which is more bug free,i have watched review on youtube.it will be available after one or two updates to us(stable users).

It is standard practice to almost OEM to give 1 Android version update to mid range phone and 2 Android version update to high end and flagship phone. Only phone under Android One program get at least 2 Android version update doesn't matter either its entry level, low end, mid range, high end or flagship.

Hope miui 10 will provide new features.there is no problem with hardware wish that we should get good software updates so that handset will last longer and save our money.....

Hope more comment about 9.5.3.0 MHOMIFA updates with appear so we can know if the updates is good or not. Right now my RN3 on 9.5.1.0 MHOMIEK stable and I feel battery is work quite well, draining battery while standby is gone like I go to bed on 12.00am and wake on 6.00am the battery only drop around 1 to 2 %. I used my RN3 surfing internet for 2 - 3 hours the tempeture only reach 38-37 celcius not like before it can reach 40 celcius after surfing 1 hour. If this 9.5.3.0 MHOMIFA updates having a bugs I might pass it.

Miui 9.5.3.0 MHOMIFA Stable sized 1.1GB is good enough, brings security patch of march.Handset is smooth,ram management is good, battery drains but slower than 9.5.1.0.Handset heats occasionaly.Font of device is good now.

Its really a good news that miui 8.4.12 global beta is having split screen feature for Redmi note 3.
Android version is still 6.0.1

Miui 9.5.1.0 is suspended now. Its having battery drain issue, maximum ram used most of time, even subway surfers game slows down sometimes,security patch is same old of january 2018.
