Works perfect without any issues. If it lag so, why don't you factory reset? Do a backup and go for a factory reset. Then probably lagging issue will be fixed. Because I have tried it in Google nexus so many times.

Awesome phone. Value for money. Games, Audio, MI earphone special effects, videos, Fingerprint lock, sensors, dual sim 4g, battery stands approximately for 2 days in 4g, not even a second of lagging at all, metal body, MI remote, slow motion video, Miui 8.0.1 global, Quick charging, One press ram cleaner, data saver, power saver, simply almost all the features are awesome.
Only cons I see is, the camera quality is not seems to be 16mpxl. And it gets a bit heat while charging. Heating is not a deal at all because it happens only while charging. Even when we play Fifa 16 temperature use to be around 35c.
