Unable to change Privacy protection password(changes but previous pattern works to unlock apps).
Music app lag.
Brightness issue not solved(after boot/reboot screen brightness remains same but brightness bar shows 0% brightness).
.mkv format videos playback issue.

I ve successfully updated to v8.5.1.0 global stable rom. But there are certain bug which i dont know and my handset is running quite well.

I am wondering about Xiaomi miui updates,
But here sharing my experience after using this mobile.
Xiaomi sending lot of updates, but evey updates are buggy. Sometime bricks devices even in stable rom updates. Sometime updates are suspended after stable rom released. I am not against any brand but I realised miui updates are not reliable. Best way dont update quickly. Wait for 15 days or a month after release new updates.
Now miui 8.5.1.0 stable has been suspended.

when i put mobile data on or off every time a notification shows 'downloading english (india) ' , waiting for wi fi. what it is and how can i remove this notification.

Mark, 28 Jun 2017I bought a MI Note 3 and everything is good, except the spe... moreThis may be due to auto update setting ,your language pack , play store apps, system upatade may be on auto update mode. Check it out, second disable features like auto downloading media files in fb and whatsapp. Prefer fb lite app. While running these apps you can check background running app in installed app setting and close unneccesary apps.

I bought a MI Note 3 and everything is good, except the spending of MB. How is possible: the phone is spending 100 MB for 5 minutes scrolling in Instagram? I am not listening, I am not playing games. Google too, needs to much Internet, Like Fb, like Whatssapp.
Can someone help me, if there is any way to reduce it?
