Not effected any settings to get 9 hours screen on time. After MIUI 8 device started much heat. It mean decreasing battery life.

Anonymous, 30 Mar 2017What about the heating issue?It still heating not that much like previous but definately performance increses also the ram managment too now easily get 1.4 gb ram free previousy getting only 1 gb free ram nd some new features included swipe finger to delete notification on lock screen some minor issue fixes nd battery saver option added on notifcation toggles overall great update

Sam, 30 Mar 2017Its very smooth running...havent found any single bug u can... moreI have never experienced slow down on MIUI v8.1.1.0 Global Stable. My Redmi Note 3 runs very fast and smooth. I've turned on developer mode and selected all the animation duration scales at .5x. This actually makes the animations faster so that the user interface becomes extremely fast. If you want your Redmi Note 3 to perform faster then do the same by going to Settings > About Phone > Tap 8 times continuously on MIUI Version until you see a confirmation message > Now go to Additional Settings > Developer Options > Scroll down and select .5x for Windows animation scale, transition animation scale and animator duration scale.
I know the update will be smooth and I'll make it even more smoother and faster by applying this method. I'm concerned about the bugs so I guess I will wait.
1. By the way, how is the battery life after the update and heating issue is solved or not?
2. MKV videos playing smoothly or still lagging in default MIUI video player?
3. Airtel 4G working good?
4. Call log restore automatically after every reboot in MIUI v8.1.1.0 so is it solved in this version?
Would appreciate if someone who have updated to MIUI v8.2.2.0 MHOMIDL Nightly can answer if the bugs listed above are addressed in this version or still persists?

New update rolling out for Redmi Note 3 although it is Nightly (Beta). MIUI v8.2.2.0 MHOMIDL 453 MB. Changelog is quite long. I won't update until stable version is available.

a perfect phone for me, 4G speed is super fast, battery can last whole day without charging even with heavy use - mobile data, hotspot, gaming, music and still hv 25% at the end of the day.
its build is also very durable and sturdy as my phone falls down from the first floor to the ground floor，it is still able to function well, minus the broken glass and the dmgd upper corner of the LCD screen (becomes black).

Redmi note 3 this phone is good for 6 mnth after that its all specification with battery are going down major problam is its costomet store they does not listen about complaint of costomer so i suggest dont west your money with this phone
