I'm using this phone over a year now, it's still good as new. It's getting better and better everyday because development support is very good. MIUI updates aren't that good though but if you are going to use the China Dev ROM version, the updates are quite fast than the Global version. This is one of the most cheapest compact phone I have ever used.

I had redmi phones almost two years, First redmi note 2, it wasn't as good as I hoped, then I heard redmi note 3 was better so I got it, and it was much much better, performance, battery everything. I have it 10 months now and yesterday power button and volume buttons just stoped working, no response, also charger entrance loses contact. So I can say for sure that my xiaomi adventure is at its end.

Draining battery a lot even after turning off the start in background apps. 4G consumes more battery, but this one drains a lot, i never buy MI phones

Waste 4000 mah battery, draining battery fast even after turning off most of the apps start in background. I know 4g consumes more power but this one sucks a lot

Why update MIUI8.2. Its heating my note 3 . Discharging very fast. Pls solve the issue through update or Downgrade to MIUI 7.

It worked for 6 months, in the first 5 without any problems, I was pleased with it. In the next month has begun to switch for no apparent reason. I managed to turn it on several times but the last time phone switched off that was it. Guy in service couldn't get it work. The only thing showing is a flashing red light when placed in the charger. Daed complitely.
