Forgive me for the months long delay in responding my dear, I finally got my hands on the Redmi Note 3 two days ago
It works WELL, no regrets so far, but i have noticed that the charging port is a bit "stiff", it fights you when you try to plug it the usb charger and does get somewhat warm while charging, but then again, it IS made of metal. I'm thinking your charging problems stem from damage to the charging port itself, perhaps the microcircuitry has been slightly damaged?.You may want to take it to a reputable repair person and have it looked at

mca, 10 Mar 2017On 9th march i got 8.2.1 notification. But next day i cant... moreSame here.. i was getting notification for 8.2.1.0 yesterday but now it says update to 8.1.6.0.
I didn't updated my phone to marshmallow based on the negative reviews.

On 9th march i got 8.2.1 notification. But next day i cant find it. When i proceed to system update, it shows ''no updates available'. What happen?

Redmi Note 3, 10 Mar 20172GB is also a very nice and good performance mobile........... moreDon't buy redmi note 3...instead purchase redmi note 4.

Sam, 09 Mar 2017I dont think so in miui 8 battery draining issue infact it ... moreDo share your settings/tips for battery so that we also get good screen on time.. i got around 2:30-3hrs (heavy usage)

Thought there's a problem with the device, but when I tried another charger, everything works fine.
