hey xiaomi mi note 3 im so disappointed when u come update on this mi note 3 every cell phones company give a noughat but why dont u give us andriod 7.1.0 what the hell is doing your company plzzzzz we all of us want naughat update i hope u will sortout this problem with in days

Updated my Redmi Note 3 to MIUI v8.1.6.0 MHOMIDI (Global Stable) on 20th Feb 2017. I think this is worst software update ever. I'm gonna list the bugs I found -
1. RAM Management is pretty bad. Earlier I used to get around 1.8 GB RAM free but now it's 1.4-1.5 GB free most of time.
2. Heating issues. The phone is heating up on normal usage. It was solved in the previous update but now it's more.
3. Battery life has taken a hit as the battery drains really fast.
4. Camera performance has deteriorated after the update.
5. Call logs (even if deleted) restore automatically after reboot.
6. Sound quality through the loudspeaker is pretty low.
7. Earphone mic still not working.
8. HD MKV videos (HD Movies) are still lagging during playback with the default video player.
Unfortunately MIUI devs aren't even caring about the bugs. A bug fix (really stable update is needed). What happened to the Multi-Window mode that Xiaomi bragged about?

1...the service centre is far away from my place....
2....if you load or play heavy games.the heating effect will be there....
3.....I have bought this phone 4 months back, till then there were no issue but after 3 or 4 months my phone is not charging and if it charge then it charge very slowly that after 6 hrs it charge only 10 per cent....
If you want to face these issue then buy otherwise don't buy....I hate this mobile.

Whenever you download any video or an image file it automatically get vanished from downloads after sometime and you will see only the thumbnail of that file. Moreover when you will try to see that image file or video it will ask you to download it again.

Miui7 is better than the miui8. Miui8 have heating issue.
