Anonymous, 20 Oct 2022Redmi note 4 is One of the best smartphone by Xiaomi I am... moreSame here. Bought my redmi note 4 back in 2017. After 1 year the vibration stopped working and therefore I bought my first smartband (mi band) so I don't miss any calls (don't like loud ringtones).
After 3 years the headphone jack said goodbye, but that was kinda my fault since taking it to the gym and placing it weirdly in my pocket...
Changed the battery 2 years ago (less than 10€).
After 5 years I can still say that I'm happy with this device. During the 5 years I also bought: Poco M3, X3 NFC, Samsung M31 but none of them could replace the note 4 (too big, too heavy....) So I returned them.
As a backup device just in case the redmi stops working I bought a used Sony Xz1 compact.

    Redmi note 4 is One of the best smartphone by Xiaomi

        Imho, the first 5-6 months Redmi note 4 was ideal smartphone. Later started often too hot, longer battery charging. Finally it stopped charging. So I sold it after over 6 months. I wasn't happy with this smartphone.

          One of the best phone by xiaomi. Still using this bad boy as my secondary phone. Can't believe that battery is still holding up.

              This is very good phone beating double priced Samsung and OnePlus in features and performance. Decent sized for one hand use. Tough, I dropped 20-25 times (medium hard case + Tempered glass on) it gave no issues. I only had to sell it for one most needed feature for me that is Alexa and Ok Google work on locked screen/display off which Redmi Note 9 Pro Max offered and is my new phone.

                      I have managed to fix the earplug issue just by cleaning the earplug jack with thin wooden stick. It has helped everytime, the phone seems to think you have connected earplugs if the jack gets dirty. Also I have had the phone for 5 years now with no other issues.

                        One of the best phone I had too bad the place where I service it switch the battery to a bloated one

                            Bought in 2017 and being a heavy user, this is the best phone i have come across, not a single issue, this was the phone which made xiaomi a brand

                                        Had just bought this phone a couple of days ago because best news I have Heard about it but it just got restarting by it self,took it to repairs and I was told it's softwear is not in the system yet but I have really heard good things about the phone
