okay, so.. i have changed battery ... nothing happened same problem. i have disabled every single app i could.. nothing helped.. i didnt knew what else to do .. phone was and still is ok.. so i have opened back cover unpluged fingerprint sensor and right tiny black wire just beside battery on the right.. since i didnt knew what it was.. i have tryed everything.. and wifi works speaker works everything actually worked normaly.. my battery is okay now..
ps.. disabling google duo didnt help at all .. calibration didnt help either.. so belive. it or not my battery is ok now.. hope ill help somebody.. i usually dont writte this kind of stuff nowhere but i was desperate with my phone and i just felt i had to share my experience..

Agee, 01 Apr 2020Help me how to downgrade from miui 10 to miui 8follow this video https://youtu.be/35FGukFtiAY and u need to be 100% sure that u have basic knowledge of doing this stuff... back up all ur data as after downgrade every thing would be wiped out delted..1st make sure u have mtk version.. if u have two screws besides ur charging port then u hv a mtk version and u can proceed.. also make sure u have replaced "cust" file smaller sized one in the firmware folder...else follow the video... and another tip is when u connect mobile to pc during flash press n hold the volume up button for 5 seconds

How much SOT this phone had in that ... moreas my cell is now almost 3 year old... battery has started to show its wear n tear... earlier i had 7 to 8 hours of sot on china stable 8.5.5.0 and battery full in 1 hour 30 minutes using 1 amp samsung charger... after 3 years i m having 5 to 5.5 hours sot

redmi note 4 mtk best fone i ever.l had.. ppl with battery problems and charging problems... pls do not update this fone to miui 9 or 10. use only official miui china stable 8.5.5.0
i m using this fone since jan 2017, its great... fast responsive long battery life.. 6 to 7 hours SOT. i also updated but miui 9 and up were all full of bugs.. battery drain sot only 1or 2 hours, so i downgraded mine back to miui china stable 8.5.5.0 long battery life fast charging it takes one hour 20 minutes to full charge.. use only 1 amp charger.. do not use 2 amp stock charger it heats the battery and makes its life less... i use samsung 1 amp charger.. sound quality of this fone is out of this world.. stock music app version 3.3.0 sounds best.. downgrading procedure is at youtube.. do not try if u r a newbe or non technical..

kek....im using this phone now been using it since november 2016 it's about 3 years+++ the battery began to age so bad i need to charge it every hour....when im active though but in idle it can last for long time im quite surprise gonna need to put this boy to rest and give me self a worthy successor for it this coming november

I have it since September 2016 and changed the battery recently. I had no issues except only in the first months. But with the Miui updates through the Greek MIUI community it got much better. I only wish that it would upgrade to Android 7 as Xiaomi promised but all applications work with Android 6.

just search in the playstore for an app named 'MTK Engineering'
after installation, run it. choose MTK settings
then choose hardware testing, then choose power
choose power and performance customization
except for 2nd and 4th option, change all to low power
then u r good to go
