If you want a phone that has a great camera you're gonna have to pay for more. With regards to your question redmi 5 is better if we talk about performance. I would recommend you check Mi A1 and Redmi Note 5 pro it has an improve camera than Redmi Note 4x and you'll also get Android Oreo with those phone.
