Pinoy Mi, 31 Oct 2018How is the issue now? Do you still experience it? I am skep... moreI don't have anymore Redmi 5, or Redmi 5 Plus, still waiting Note 5 from aliexpress.
And in my case, that only apear with MIUI 9.6.3.0 in Redmi 5, for MIUI 10 and Note 5 i don't know, yet.

Boi, 29 Oct 2018Don't know why I'm facing the same problem... Sometimes whe... moreI was have same problem on Redmi 5 back in july this year, and it was on 9.6.3.0,, and also on 9.6.4.0.. So this is something with MIUI thing, maybe broken côde or something like that, and they just copy/paste in newer builds.. ;)

So.. 9.5.4.0, then 9.5.6.0, then, 9.5.13.0, then 9.5.19.0, and thats a last of MIUI 9.5 (with june security patch). Next is 9.6.3.0 (July patch), and i think, last from MIUI 9.6 (for this device) is 9.6.5.0, after that is MIUI 10 (10.0.1.0)

Alpha22, 29 Oct 2018Ohh im using a redmi note 5 global version which comes with... moreIts a same phone, Xiaomi Note 5 AI does not exist, only Xiaomi Resmi Note 5 Pro (for Indian market and it was on Nougat out of box), and this one, Xiaomi Note 5 (Global version). Why GSMArena calls this phone artifical intelligence, who knows, maybe for those stuff in cameras.

I experienced an issue lately with the power button. Sometimes it is unresponsive or too much sensitive. It causes me to press the power button twice or thrice in order to lock/unlock the screen.
