Very good phone but i have issues with the cameras when focusing on the object the background became washed out

To those who are still running their devices on Miui 9.5 or 9.6 don't upgrade yet if you want a long lasting battery life. Even with the latest Miui 10.0.2 the battery still drains faster compared to 9.5 or 9.6 Miui versions..

Of youre planning to but this phone. It a fantastic phone. Been using it about 4 months now. Few issues here and there but regular updates solves the issues . YOU MUST INSTALL A SCREEN GUARD ON THIS DEVICS! Forgive my emphasis but this phones screen is the worst I've seen with xiaomi and I've used quite a few. The phone barely dropped from my hands and theirs already a crack on it. I'm in Nigeria so no service center to replace my screen and will have to order for a new screen that will take a while to receive and at a high cost. Great phone buy they could have done better with the screen .

MIUI 10.0.1 had a performance problem that I faced but 10.0.2 solved it . Phone becomes very smooth . Battery life is now superb.
But....... the fingerprint scanner is still slow.........!!!!!!!!

I was using Redmi 5, later Resmi 5 Plus, and on those phones, battery life was a pretty good (with MIUI 9.5 and 9.6.3.0), and, thats why i asked difference between MIUI 9 vs MIUI 10 in battery life, and other stuff. Thank you again for information. I must say, there are really helpful people here on GSMArena, and also on MIUI forum for Xiaomi phones.

One more thing if you are using the phone or going to use it someday install the poco launcher on it and apply the pixel icon pack .It looks awesome and super easy to use .

V, 22 Oct 2018It really works by changing the region to India. But how do... moreTo India, or Hong Kong, same goes for face unlock. Maybe thats Xiaomi primary market, and because of that first gets more options (and better sound). Problem is, if we chose, for example India, we cant use MI acc via phone number, (In EU) because first 3 numbers is for India region and mobile providers.

I read on MIUI forum for this model (or Note 5 Pro = India), that, after update to MIUI 10, fingerprint response is slower, also that in some users, cpu all 8 cores stuck at max all the time. Do you have some of those problem in your phone?

Now its my final update 10.02...it has solved everything...fast and amazing battery and sharp cam ever...i will not do any more update
