I am waiting for the review for weeks. Now I'm on my way to buy the phone, but the review isn't posted yet. Couldn't find anywhere about the sound quality of this phone.

Why is the review so late?
Considering the importance of the Indian market, it is possible that Xiaomi asked gsmarena to postpone it until the phone is available locally.
Xiaomi really screwed up on this model
First, they rushed to India the Chinese Redmi 5 Plus model rebranded Redmi Note 5. But soon, they launched in India again a Redmi Note 5 Pro with better camera (IMX486 but with slow lens) maybe to fence competition (like Honor 7?)
And then in China came the real Redmi Note 5 with a promising large Samsung sensor. This is the model currently sold in Europe.
Why such a mess with their most popular phone? Did Samsung played nasty and delayed delivery of their sensor?
Sure the 2 year old Samsung sensor cannot compete with more recent sensors of the same size like Sony IMX363, but algorithms have also improved and with a brighter f/1.9 lens, maybe the Redmi Note 5 produces images comparable to last years Galaxy S8 at a fraction of the price?
