I agree that I disappointed with the device.
I want it to have 3 slot. 2 SIM + 1 memory card.
I also want it to have USB-C
BUT, I think for the price, this might be the best bargain in US$200 segment.
Most US$200 segment have antutu around 50K-60K. This 100K+ antutu Redmi Note 5 Plus is a killer!!!!

The phone misses majorly two things. one is that it lacks a dedicated memory card slot and the second one is that both the sim cards are not supported with 4g

Considering Ive managed to break every screen on my phones except my first Xiaomi, The Redmi Note 3, We really shouldnt be worrying if its gorrilla glass or not.. The quality of Xiaomi screens from a durability stand point is top notch. My only complaints would be the soft plastic around the very edge of the screen but other than thats its excellent. Sustained many drops and flips.. Its why I hesitate about this phone I actually want them to use whatever glass they are using in the redmi note series because its already very highly praised.

Many comments proof this product taken many attention. But some of you forgot about the price is in line with the specs. Can you get gadget in the price range as good as this???
The bottom line is, Xiaomi is a company, not a foundation :-).
The gadget has been made, so
If you like, buy ones. Be patient with the xiaomi update to upgrade.
If you Xiaominers :-), wait and saving for the next gadgets, that will be makes more like your wish (never exactly as you dream).
But if you hatters or just Gadget Dreamer, just buy another brands.
Moreover, if you have limited budget and want the best of all (not value for money), get to sleep again and keep on your dreams...
