Lets be realistic. Screen- 5.7 or 5.9 inch with FHD+ display. Camera- dual 12mp on back and 5 or 8mp on front. Processor- SD 636 or 632. Battery- about 4000 with quick charge 4.0 because the processor supports it. Should be of lesser bezels than redmi 5. Price- 12000 for base varient and 14000 for higher varient.

Release redmi note 5 by jan or i will buy honor 7x. Like me you will loose millions of fans atleast for good 1.5 to 2 years as every one use the new phone for that time frame.

But if your claim to be true maybe Xiaomi just rename Redmi 5 Plus to Redmi Note 5 and sell it in India on the late January.

I believe the earliest we can see Redmi Note 5 maybe February (middle or late) or March. But according to latest rumors is Q2 mean April, May or June and this rumors looks convincing because Xiaomi just release Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus on December 2017 and still not entering the market yet. They must need a window of time at least 2-3 month to sell both phone before bring Redmi Note 5 to the market or both phone sales having negative effects because most of fans will prefer to buy Redmi Note 5.
