Through away hybrid sim n give dedicated slot for memory card. And develop thea front camera atleast 8 or 10 megapixel.

If rumors are to be believed, Redmi Note 5 will have the highest screen to body ratio in the budget segment. I hope the leak image does not turn out to be the Mi 7.

1. use of snap 632 is more weak than snap 636 . i think snap 640 is the best for midrange phone or at least Snap 636.
2. 4 or 6G Ram and 32 , 64 and 128G Rom ( 6G ram and 128G rom is very important )
3. Dual Camera with f:1.8 and selfi at least 8 mpx with flash
4. 4500 mah battery with USB TYPE C , because Display size is 5.99 inch 18:9 ratio
5. HIFI audio and Dual Stereo speaker for better audio are very important

4 Gigabytes of Ram and 64 GB ROM is too much of a standard. I'm really sick and tired of every phone coming out these days with this combination from mid range to high end. Xiaomi needs to be a little different this time around and launch a variant with 6GB Ram and 128 GB ROM Redmi Note 5 ASAP due to the ridiculous delay that pissed off everyone. It might be actually worth it if they decided to do it or else screw them.

Like me... moreyep including me and my 3 friends, since xiaomi decided not to launch RN5, i bought the new oppo f5 youth, 2 of my other friends bought huawei nova, and my other friend was the one that waited the longest time and finally surrender waiting because its just too long without any official announcement from xiaomi, and she finally purchased oppo f5.
all of us was xiaomi users and decided we want to switch using 18:9 phone since my previous was RN3, and xiaomi is really superrr late to produce any 18:9 midrange phone, the only one is redmi 5plus in which probably will be sell outside china
if u guys waiting for redmi note 5 based on random and baseless rumor, u better switch to other brand that already did some upgrade way better than xiaomi. and honestly im very pleased with my oppo, so does my friends with their huawei
so yea i guess 2018 will not be xiaomi year afterall, their marketing staff are suck, and im no longer a mi fans, their update just too long and upgrade is not to good, and they dont care about mi fans, me and several people i noticed, voiced many questions on their social media, and no reply at all

It seems that Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 spec is exactly same as Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus except dual primary camera. So I guess that Xiaomi renamed Redmi Note 5 to Redmi 5 Plus (removing dual camera) and release already. Two models are too similar and have not much to differentiate.

Lets be realistic. Screen- 5.7 or 5.9 inch with FHD+ display. Camera- dual 12mp on back and 5 or 8mp on front. Processor- SD 636 or 632. Battery- about 4000 with quick charge 4.0 because the processor supports it. Should be of lesser bezels than redmi 5. Price- 12000 for base varient and 14000 for higher varient.

Release redmi note 5 by jan or i will buy honor 7x. Like me you will loose millions of fans atleast for good 1.5 to 2 years as every one use the new phone for that time frame.
