yes it has a headphone jack with a very good quality output...its position has been changed though...it has found it place on top this time..no need to panic

Very unfortunate that it does not have FM Radio in our countries is used a lot. I will be looking at another brand that has everything necessary.

A month ago, I bought this accidentally for US$150. I only bought it because of the price and it's screen. It was for an 80-year-old who only care about basic phone calls, whatsapp and news apps. Personally, I won't use it. I tried playing a 4K video...it was LOL! It was exactly like playing a PC game at 5fps. Most of my videos are 1080p 60fps HEVC 10bit @1500kbps bitrate and I played those too. They stutter like crazy, maybe at 10fps. It goes to show Snapdragon 636 is not designed for videos. It also doesn't have NFC, therefore I can't use my credit cards and Octopus cards (I am Hong Kong). Another thing I hate is the inability to use Google's voice-to-text function. In my case, unable to install Hong Kong Cantonese voice to text (My 80-year-old parents' Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has no problem). English voice to text also doesn't work so well. Maybe you need to speak Mainland China English accent; My Canadian accent just won't do it.
Other than those, the phone's great. It holds and feels better my LG V30+, Samsung Note 8 and S9.

They think that this is upgrade from Xiaomi Redmi S2 )also only in Global version) and it is, from S2 but not from Note 5, it's similar phone just have smaller chin, beter cameras (front and back), and thats it.. Fm radio is there, also. O one more thing, ni more white front panel, in all color combination, front panel is black now, thats something new :D

This phone is for new customers, it's cheap, have good battery, new model, good cameras, notch, first time in any Xiaomi, watermark on front camera(s).. And, again, it's really cheap, on aliexpress about 150-160 euros. For month from now will be same price like Note 5 AL (Pro), 130-140 euros.

Xiaomi clearly wasn't profiting enough this year so they essentially decided to release the same phones twice.
No wonder why everybody in China thinks Xiaomi is a pathetic lousy company.

wow, a beautiful notch, also the headphone jack don't look good in a 2018 phone, remove it , the battery is also not flagship grade 3000mAh would be good.
