Xiaomi products is promoted based on word of mouth, and I have to say that it works really well for Xiaomi, but it also creates a much more subjective perception of the product mostly due to its low price and perhaps marketing gimmicks like 48MP camera. The fact is the phone is a good fot its price, and this is undeniable. But to be fair the camera is just good enough, but not to the level of greatness Xiaomi tries (or the fans) tries to buzz out.
Is the camera good ? Yes, is it very good ? No. In a scale of 1-10, I would only give a 7 maximum for the camera. Is it worth to purchase for $150 ? Yes.
The point is , it is a good phone, but not to level of greatness people try to impress. Definitely it is not the only phone at this price to offer this level of excellence.

pradeep505, 23 Jan 2019what about 7 pro ?Based on previous experience, I don't think Note 7 Pro will be different design-wise. Xiaomi always seem to keep the same design for the same series, Pro or Non-Pro, possibly to minimize cost & achieve economic scale of production.
