Anonymous, 25 Feb 2019Too expensive if they try to sell at 2000 Yuan, even for 6/... more2000 Yuan will be the price of top spec RN7P, most likely 6/128. 6/64 will be 50 USD more expensive then RN7 version with same RAM/storage

    Anonymous, 25 Feb 2019Too expensive if they try to sell at 2000 Yuan, even for 6/... moreIn the end, even when people are very interested in 7 Pro, people will prefer to hold it for a while for the price to come down to a more sensible number. This will affect their own success during the launch, which will determine the level of sucess & interest in the following months.

      Evie, 24 Feb 2019I hope after learning the ORIGINAL PRICE of REDMI NOTE 7 PR... moreToo expensive if they try to sell at 2000 Yuan, even for 6/64. They sell RN7 6/64 for 1400 Yuan. Does the SOC upgrade from SD660 to SD675 and camera from GM1 to IMX587 is worth 600 Yuan ? I don't think so.

              A question from a potential buyer: "Should I choose Redmi Note 7 Pro or Mi9?"

              The Redmi President answered: "If you want to pay 3000 Yuan, get Mi9. If you want to pay less than 2000 Yuan, get Redmi Note 7 Pro."

                Evie, 24 Feb 2019I hope after learning the ORIGINAL PRICE of REDMI NOTE 7 PR... moreThe pricing of RN7Pro reported in India press is not correct because they used Google translation for the original text.

                The original message from the Redmi President is as follows:
                Upgrades over RN7:
                -- 48MP Sony Sensor;
                -- A new Snapdragon SoC;
                -- More RAM and storage options.
                Pricing: Definitely under 2000 Yuan.

                                      Apparently, Qualcomm has changed its camera specification description for SD712, SD710, and SD675 within the past few days.

                                      Just a week ago, the camera specifications for SD712, SD710, and SD675 are as follows:
                                      ---------------------
                                      SD712
                                      Camera
                                      2 x 16 MP camera
                                      1 x 32 MP camera
                                      ---------------------
                                      SD710
                                      Camera
                                      2 x 16 MP camera
                                      1 x 25 MP camera
                                      ---------------------
                                      SD675
                                      Camera
                                      2 x 16 MP camera
                                      1 x 25 MP camera
                                      snapshot 48MP
                                      ---------------------
                                      This gave the impression that only SD675 can take 48MP snapshot.

                                      But today, the camera specification sheets for SD712, SD710, and SD675 have been changed to as follows:
                                      ---------------------
                                      SD712
                                      Camera
                                      Dual Camera, MFNR, ZSL, 30fps: Up to 16 MP
                                      Single Camera, MFNR, ZSL, 30fps: Up to 32 MP
                                      Single Camera, MFNR: Up to 48 MP
                                      ---------------------
                                      SD710
                                      Camera
                                      Dual Camera, MFNR, ZSL, 30fps: Up to 16 MP
                                      Single Camera, MFNR, ZSL, 30fps: Up to 25 MP
                                      Single Camera, MFNR: Up to 48 MP
                                      ---------------------
                                      SD675
                                      Camera:
                                      Dual Camera, MFNR, ZSL, 30fps: Up to 16 MP
                                      Single Camera, MFNR, ZSL, 30fps: Up to 25 MP
                                      Single Camera, MFNR: Up to 48 MP
                                      ---------------------
                                      MFNR = multiple-frame noise reduction
                                      ZSL = Zero Shutter Lag

                                      The modified description seems to suggest that SD712, SD710, and SD675 have the similar camera handling capability. They can't handle 48MP camera, but can take snapshot@48MP.
